Haikyuu!! Dating Simulator

I have started writing the draft for Bokuto’s route. >w< It is for the demo, but it’ll be implemented  in the final game. (We intend to add a map in the final version, but you’ll see if we will manage to put it in the demo ;p)

Only 700 words for now, but it is only the beginning! I aim to fill every route with at the very least 10k+ words and that is still the bare minimum. ^^ Yes, it will be a bigggg VN.

We have decided which Haikyuu!! characters will be dateable in our Haikyuu!! Dating Sim! Here is a list of the dateable characters:

Concept art of the protagonist Yuuko Natsuko. Yuuko means ‘brave girl’ and Natsuko means ‘child of summer’. (Maybe you’ll be able to change her first name in the game; who knows?) I’m going to practise the haikyuu artstyle and try to draw her in that style instead of my own~

The basics of her personality are so far:

She’s a member of the journalist club and loves reporting.

She is very passionate about volleyball.

Very outgoing and enthousiastic yet she can be short-tempered.

Easy to catch off-guard and has a strange sense of humor.

She has a story of her own which will develop her personality and delve deeper in her flaws, but I can’t tell you about that....yet (Can’t have her become a boring Mary Sue, hm?)

I’ve had this idea for a while and today I decided to just go for it. As of now there isn’t a Haikyuu dating simulator….yet. I really want to try making it. I know the time involved in making a Visual Novel(first hand experience-), but I’ll at least make a demo. The demo will most likely feature Bokuto, because he’s fun to write. I can throw in some humor that way and give a general idea of the feeling of the overall game~

Summary= Once in three years there’s a gigantic volleyball training camp. Schools all over the country participate to train. It’s a rare chance to see all kinds of well-known players together! That’s where you, the player, comes into play. You play as Yuuko Natsuko; member of the journalist club. Will she be able to do an in-dept coverage of a player? Maybe she’ll find love along the way? Maybe just friendship? It’s all up to you!

Let’s get this project moving! I intend to release the small demo this year~
