I have a proposition that will shake this putrid earth to its core. A veritable epiphany that is fueling my inevitable implosion and death.

It is this: nothing matters. Life is basically like being trapped in a gargantuan trash compactor that moves quite slowly. You may suffera misfortune and drown in the water, or you may be attacked by condors and die before the walls reach you. Either way, those walls of the trash compactor are going to collide in a few decades, and you never really know when it could all be over. No matter what, you're doomed, because the trash compactor walls are gonna crush you and make you dead.
