This might be a controversial/hot take but Jungkook doesn’t look like a smoker at all. I’m a smoker (been trying to quit 😔😔) and boy knows how to hold a cig and inhale, but who doesn’t know how to do that? He breathes in the wrong way too lol, it looks like he gets the smoke in his mouth and blows it out right away instead of inhaling it. Now I have my own theory as to why - 1. which i think is most likely is that he’s a social smoker, doing it just so he has something to do with his staff while they’re waiting around, but my delulu self can think of 2. - he’s doing this for the same reasons he did his tats, seven, his wlives and now smoking. it’s pretty evident that he’s been gradually trying to get rid of people who won’t love him no matter what. And why would he want to do this? well we all know that jikook are heading in a particular direction, right? in my opinion, jungkook is taking one for the team. you think he didn’t know about the paps outside the restaurant? you think he didn’t know he should stand behind the car instead of beside it in full view? he even looked in the direction of the camera a few times! he absolutely wanted people to know! no, jungkook is gutting the clean boy, good little kpop idol persona of himself - bc what we’re about to learn about him and jm couldn’t be further from it. he wants the world to be ready, or at least get rid of those who wish harm upon him when he does things they don’t want him to do. bc i couldn’t think of another sane reason why jungkook would WANT the world to know he smokes. there ain’t one. period.
