UFOs Hovering Above Uranus

MAVEN (short for Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution) began orbiting Mars on Sept. 21, 2014, on a mission to study the Red Planet's mysterious atmosphere. Circling Mars roughly 6.6 times every Earth day, the spacecraft has facilitated countless discoveries over the last decade — including the first direct observations of a multi-million-year process that has been steadily stripping Mars of its atmosphere.

The debate over whether aliens are true or fake has intensified in recent years, fuelled by leaked cockpit footage, viral social media clips and a drumbeat of conspiracy theories that accuse governments of hiding crash sites, secret pacts and even underground bases. Against that noisy backdrop, Dr. Emma Chapman, an astrophysicist at the University of Nottingham and a specialist in radio astronomy, is trying to ground the conversation in what can actually be measured through telescopes and data rather than speculation.

Paulides also discussed several cases he believes remain unexplained—including the disappearance of 14-year-old Stacy Arras in Yosemite National Park more than four decades ago.

“The astronauts each reported that these experiences occurred in the dark as they tried to sleep,” a description on the Defense Department’s dedicated UFO site states.

The document was included in a second batch of declassified documents released Friday on unidentified anomalous phenomena — previously and more infamously known unidentified flying objects, or UFOs — released this year by the Trump administration. The U.S. government has been holding onto the files for decades.

The fresh batch of materials includes a half dozen documents, a handful of audio recordings and 51 videos, including one of an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) being shot to bits. The circumstances are unexplained.

In response to the revelations, Jeremiah J. Johnston of the Christian Thinkers Society made an effort to refute the documents by providing a spiritual justification for the enigmatic lights and "orbs" seen in the night sky.
