i always have the most trouble with the doc so i'm trying to plan out some much needed revisions to her design...both to make it more thematically cohesive and easier for me to remember how to draw when i have to do it over and over again, haha

i still don't think this is quite there yet but after i sit on it for a while i should know what to do...mostly i'm still having trouble getting the number/placement of eyespots to not be too busy but i'm a lot happier with the ear/wing silhouettes at least

i've probably given off the impression that these two never interact since i never draw them together but that is a BALD-FACED LIE i just suck!!! they are pretty at odds to begin with (fitting since they're both famously bad at first impressions in their own fun and unique ways) and carrie is really freaked out by all this mutant business in general. but of course you can expect some character development along the line because i'm too invested in STRONG FEMALE FRIENDSHIPS
