Splatoon Fashion Catalogue Volume 13: Emberz

A brand that uses gear with materials of all kind due to their beliefs of chaos and denial, Emberz is a favorite among Splatsville’s youth. 

Out of all the brands posessed by my roommate, Emberz appears a lot in their shoppinh sprees, and with good reason. Emberz has the most variety in any gear I ever saw; goggles, masks, flip flops, tishirts, even clown clothes, they truly have it all!

Emberz honestly has no room for improvement, they got it all.

Splatoon Music Catalogue Volume 14: Off The Hook

A pop duo based in Inkopolis Square that provide daily news to the residents along with fresh music.

The duo’s members are:

Pearl, an inkling who’s voice can damage way more than your eardrums when with the right equipment. Pearl’s destructive voice and personality lead to her nickname before off the hook: “The club destroyer” before her Off The Hook days. Though you wouldn’t see that at face value when she’s simply showing off the latest stages. Pearl provides the vocals to their music(which thankfully is a contrast to her past voice). Pearl herself comes from an exceedingly rich family from Calamari County and does not know much about Marina when they first met, which is a nice segway into:

Marina: The duo’s dj who brings the beats and melodies to the table, Marina is a stark contrast to her band partner, being sweet spoken and reserved rather than blunt and a bit loud. Sadly I don’t know much sources about Marina’s past* other than Pearl taught her inkling customs and after showing her a demo agreed to form Off The Hook.

My favorite song of their would have to bee Ebb And Flow, as it shows the best of both their talents, a perfect blend of Pearl and Marina’s skills.

Variants: Forge Splattershot Pro

A version of the basic Splattershot that has higher damage and range but a lower fire rate. Combine this with the kit of Angle Shooter and Crab Tank this weapon demands you charge into the frontline and be aggressive as you can, while splatting as much as you can.

The Splattershot Pro gets a 7/10 for the good Special and power and range, but I had to knock down the score due to the fire rate and Sub.

Splatoon Fashion Catalogue Volume 12: Enperry

A brand specializing in both athletic and gear fit for a king, they display a variety of gear from retro looking glasses to rugby attire.

In one of my roommate’s recent shopping sprees, she noticed some of the more recent gear from Enperry bears a resemblance to Pearl from Off The Hook’s outfit. Whether it be an untold collab or plagiarism I do not know.

Enperry gear can be seen from Crusty Sean to Team New Emperor, and even some discontinued Splat Dualie variants, maybe we’ll see a comeback from them soon.

Splatoon music catalogue volume 13: Sashimori

A four member rock band that despite the unorthodox vocals sourced from ancient records provide amazing songs as the end result.

Sashimori’s members are:

Karla on bass, not much is known about them other than the fact they used to be in a very loud death metal band.

Paul being the band’s dj and the source of the vocals, before him Sashimori had a regular vocalist, but was kicked out due to their self-centered personality. After that Paul was recruited to the band via a tweet. Despite his young age of 10 he is very talented and has various connections in the industry, even knowing Off the hook’s Marina(off the hook will be covered in volume 14).

Ryu Chang on percussion. Despite their prestigious background they dedicated themselves to punk rock during their teenage years. Ryu Chang enjoys illustrating as a hobby, and designed the band’s mascot, Wasabi. They also play Rainmaker with Hightide Era’s Kuze and Bottom Feeder’s Bertie Feeder.

And finally Myron “Ronnie” Swamps on guitar and the band’s founder. They come from an instrumental background though formed Sashimori out of a desire to incorporate singing. They first had a negative attitude towards Paul when he first joined, but recently changed their mind on him. Outside of the band they do various activities, my guess is related to perfecting their musical craft.

My favorite Sashimori song would have to be entropical, both the ancient and modern vocals combined with the instruments makes a truly amazing audial experience
