A light caught her eye in the dark street, Evelyn deciding to go towards the building and hope that the person inside was awake to let her stay at least until the rain had cleared. Putting the bag by her side and letting the rain hit her already soaked hair as she knocked on the door, bouncing on the spot in anticipation.

She quickly picked it back up and set it on the coffee table before she walked to the front door of her townhouse and peeked through peephole only to frown when she saw a strange woman, soaked to the bone. She quickly pulled open the door and stepped aside to let the woman into her entryway and out of the rain.
