and there is something to be said about how adamant daniel was that he didn't have transformational trauma in front of lestat, but when louis asked him about the gift, he confided in him immediately. he’s been on a tour bus with like 7 other people, but it’s the loneliness that he speaks of first. a fledging vampire stumbling through the world without his maker is only second worst to someone losing their best friend :(

The excitement for s3 goes down each time I hear something new about the season. I can’t really say I’m shocked this show loves to write out and sideline woman of color.
