Botan: I apologize for keeping you waiting. Itsuki: Huh...? Self-Important Legislator: What?! This is not the place for little girls to run around and play in! Calm Female Legislator: C-Could you perhaps be...?!

About Combos

If you’re able to land an attack within the designated window of time, you’ll see something called a COMBO count begin to increase. As soon as that combo reaches a certain number, your skill will immediately activate, so it might be good to think carefully about timing your skill usage. Raising your combo up to a certain point will also increase your Combo Damage, so it’s important to try not to break that combo.

▲ The「27＋54」in the upper right displays your damage. The white「27」is your normal damage, and orange「+54」indicates your additional combo damage.

Combo Damage

By increasing your combo, you have the potential to deal an additional 200% of your regular damage through combo damage. (See the table below.) You can triple your total damage, so make sure not to break your combo when facing particularly tough enemies.

※ During attacks with 2~3 beats, all combo damage will reflect that of the first hit. (Example: If you land 4~6 consecutive hits on a 3-beat attack, the combo damage on all three will be 50%.)

Effect of the「Combo Damage UP」Friendship Skill

In the table below, you can see the effects of the「Combo Damage UP」Friendship Skill: an additional increase to your existing combo damage. Also, if several members in your party have this skill, you can stack the effect for even higher bonuses.

Keeping your combo going in the event of an emergency

It can take a long time to build up a combo, so if an emergency occurs during that time and you need to escape, it’s okay to do something like the following sequence「Attack→Attack→ Emergency Escape→Attack」 If you attack immediately after an Emergency Escape, it will be counted towards your combo. Also, you can evade up to two times in a row without breaking your combo.

Missing Attacks

Because you can build up a combo at anytime throughout the battle, it’s okay to miss attacks sometimes. It’s good to keep this in mind if you want to get to a safe place to activate a recovery skill.

Combo Timing

Timing varies between 2-beat and 3-beat weapons, so be sure to carefully check what kind of weapons you’re making and using.

Battle Item Specifications

When it comes time to leave for battle, you’re able to choose what effects you’d like to use in the coming fight.

If you want to use a Battle Item, set its status to ON when setting up for that coming battle

You can only store up to 5 uses of an item at a time.

You can only use one of each effect at a time

Effects recover at a rate of 1 per hour

Battle Item Effects

By using Battle Items, you can double the amount of things like Experience Points and Treasure Chests you earn in combat.

If AUTO is turned ON, you can press the AUTO button in battle, and you’ll attack and move automatically in combat.

Furthermore, if you press the AUTO button a second time, you’ll attack at twice the normal speed, which is convenient for when you’re aiming to collect materials

Nozomi: Haa haa haa... that wasn’t half bad, right…? Yuri: Haa haa haa... you’re getting sloppy, Nozomi. And with enemies like this…  Nozomi: Haa haa haa... your breathing is off too, Yuri. Kurumi: Perhaps we should take a quick break...? Yuri: A quick break...? That sounds great right now... Yuri: No, what am I saying?! I can’t rest in front of the enemy! Young Bespectacled Legislator: Do you really think you can reclaim Earth using such childish, playful tactics? Itsuki: The Holy Tree bestows its power upon the pure hearts of our Hoshimori girls. Itsuki: Which means that if something were to crush their hearts, the Holy Tree would revoke that power, wouldn’t it? Cunning Legislator: That’s exactly why we want to recover Earth without relying on the power of the Holy Tree. Renge: They’re reinforcements, right…? But… for the enemy. Asuha: If we want to stand any chance against them, I believe our only option is to round them all up and eliminate them in one big blast. Anko: I think I get what you’re saying. Renge: That way, we can still beat our enemies without having to focus fire, right?
