You seriously have no room to complain. BTS is a Korean group. Their main focus will always be their Korean fans. They’re not in our market, we’re in their’s. Which means we get what we get and we don’t bitch about it. In regards to Highlight, they were being treated like shit too so don’t say it was just the fans. TGM events is a LA based company so fans got screwed over by Americans. Not by Koreans. I don’t get it lmao. They promote in Korea. Their first rounds of promotions is on Korean shows so I don’t get why people feel like they have to release things on international times? There are more countries that appreciate BTS other than America so I don’t see why you think they have to use American time zones. We’re in their territory. Be grateful we have translators, people who sub, Big Hit releasing some videos with subs, & that they even make their rounds in other countries. BTS does A LOT. It might not seem like it because we never get a look at the behind the scenes but they sacrifice a lot of their time for international fans alone. They were in America/Canada for Chuseok. A huge holiday for them. They probably missed their families like crazy. They continued their TRB concert series even after the whole gun threat bullshit. If I was in their position, I would have been pissed/frustrated/hurt enough to just cancel the rest of the stops. They update Twitter just as much as the fancafe. It might not be in English but they know we’ll find a way to translate. They don’t take down subbed Bangtan Bombs! They get paid for views on those videos. I don’t think people understand that. Taking down the subbed videos would get them money but they don’t. They put their music on iTunes. That alone for an international group is a pain in the fucking ass since they gotta jump through hoops following US laws. They need a US tax ID, they need money, they need a bunch of stuff. Rehearsals, traveling, jet lag, recording, writing lyrics, photo shoots, social media, their Gayo series, rerecording songs for Japanese versions. It’s ALOT. We always wish that they’d get some sleep and they definitely could if they forfeit their international promotions but they don’t. Just be grateful. At least we get something.
