Horan Avidity

Niall looked out the window. The rain was coming down harder. A mere twenty minutes ago, it was cloudy, but not threatening. However, the soft staccato of the drizzle turned into the hammering of full on storm. A frown furrowed across Niall’s brow as the thunder rumbled low. He had hoped that Lindsay had decided to wait the storm out before returning from the bakery.  The drive up to his house had some windy roads and LA drivers didn’t understand how to drive when it rained.

When they woke up that morning, she bounded into the bathroom, peeked into the shower and asked him what he wanted from their favorite Bakery. By the time he got out of the shower, she was gone and left a note:

Back in a bit. Breakfast will be in bed. Dress appropriately!

WHERE IS OUR SEPTEMBER PHOTO DUMP, HORAN?

You acclimated us to this new and barely accessible relationship. Well, come on then.. I’m a New Yorker time is valuable!!

Okay.. it wasn’t a photo dump but he said he missed us & called us lovers again. 🥺🥺🥺

I’m not saying he heard my plea but this has happened a few times… sooooo in my humble opinion

“ready?” 

And nail would turn and he’d get that full beaming smile. The one that spreads from ear to eat and it even shows that he has that one little dimple that pops out once in a blue moon. And he’d look at them, then down to his jacket and nod. “Absolutely. Never been more ready for anything in my life” 

he’d slip on his jacket, they’d engaged in a bit of a prolonged hug before heading back inside or to wherever they’re about to have the ceremony.  But, niall is still a bit fidgety. He’s still clenching his fist and and messing with things, chewing on the side of his thumb. He’d ask Willie about 20 times if she’s there yet.  Then he’d finally see the minster come out and someone telling everyone to take their seats. He’d be holding his breath in anticipation, knowing his bride, the woman he loves most is about to appear. 

He’d watch as the rest of the bridal party come down the aisle. Maybe Ruby winston clenching theo’s hand as they walk slowly down the aisle.

After much insight, deep research and thought, i have come to the very controversial opinion that Niall’s current stylist must be put on temporary leave or fired. 

He needs to go back to the fitted pants that are perfectly tailored and accentuate his perfect and best ASSet. 

YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT DAD NIALL? Dad Niall is my favorite Niall! Okay. Soooo sit down, sit back and enjoy the ride you just put me on!

I think when the time comes for Niall to be a dad he is almost obsessive and needs to be in control of soo soo many things. I feel like a baby shower would be absolutely no different on the list of what Niall is doing.

We already know Niall goes above and beyond with the details. (Those Horan & Rose charity events are whoa!) We also know that Niall has soo soo soo many friends that would want to celebrate the soon to be parents. So yes, I do think that he would make sure that it was an absolutely spectacular event, that he would work with his mother in law or his wife’s best friend/sister to surprise his wife. I feel like it would be co-ed, but also lean more towards family, and shared friends or her friends. It wouldn’t be a rowdy event. Beautiful, special, alll about his wife and their baby.

We also know that Niall is very socially aware of the fiscal privilege that he has. So I think there would be a no-gift rule. They would request a donation to a charity and if anyone did bring a gift (unless it was something super sentimental) it would be donated to a charity. The only exception would be a book, a baby book that has a personal inscription on the inside.

Now for a theme? Let me indulge and live out my own baby shower fantasy. It would be a storybook baby shower. (Personalized Book make sense now?) Im talking like, Have to enter the party through a wardrobe like from The lion, the witch and the wardrobe where there is everything storybook themed. talking about how “a new chapter begins…” maybe a garden-like beautiful display. Books with flowers on top centerpieces.

Little themed areas and drinks… from mother goose stories. To a play on “if you give a mouse a cookie..” dessert.

Peter rabbit and the hungry little caterpillar mixed in.

All the baby book themed beautifully done paradise. And every detail would be perfect and it would be exquisite. And Niall would be worried about everything being just ~perfect he would absolutely just love how choked up ans bashful his wife became knowing how many people came together to send love to them & their little one. And she would probably feel bad for all those moments she thought he was just ignoring her or running away because she was irritable.
