*A sword made of flames that had once belonged to the gate guardian of Eden, a shield that seemed to break time and space as it danced around itself and seemed to infinitely bend in on itself, a golden egg with pure light inside it, along with many other such treasures.*

Do feel free to wander a bit, but there are 2 rules I will hold firm on:

Do not touch or move anything, and under no circumstances should you get too close to that

*he points at the center of the room, there sat sat a simple golden sphere on a velvet cushion, encased in glass and chains made of light.*

That is what the elders called ‘The tesseract.’ It’s a highly unstable little thing. Or at least it was back in the elders of heavens day…best not to touch it

*The tesseract started to glow again, seemingly knowing that everyone has seen and heard what they needed to see and hear.*

*There was so much chaos that there was a real risk someone would get teleported away that shouldn’t be*

*So with the tesseract seemingly glued to Bezaliel’s hand, it started to drag him away. Catching the attention of quite a few bystanders*

Bezaliel struggled heavily against the Tesseract, his pitch black wings flapping frantically, reopening a few wounds from a past incident… tears fell from his pure white right eye and the vertical eye on his throat as the Supreme Angel fought for his freedom… he couldn’t… this failure… not again… NOT AGAIN!!

“This was all your fault, Bezaliel… all you had to do was follow… obey me… but no… you decided to betray me instead…”

A searing pain shot through the scars on Bezaliel’s face as the voice of his sadistic fallen Seraphim of a leader echoed in his mind… the tears fell faster… he couldn’t let this happen again… this… the torment… the shadows all around began acting erratically… he couldn’t… being unable to hold back his rage and sorrow… the Supreme Angel let out a shout that he was sure shook the entire palace…

“HEAVEN SHALL FALL!!! HELL WILL BURN!!! THERE IS NO ESCAPING MY SCORN!!! BETTER RUN AND HIDE WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!!! NO ONE ESCAPES THE FATHER’S SHADOWY GLANCE!!! DO YOU HEAR ME?! ALL OF YOU REPROBATES?!”

He was shaking. Everything felt weak, like he would collapse if he tried to move, ears ringing. Was spending every day and night trying to prepare for this not enough? Was seeing another version of Minos die really necessary?

He might be crying. He might be screaming too. He wasn’t too sure.

[What is it with people and not knowing how to peacefully change leadership..]

[*Bee sighs deeply, turns down their audial sensors, and looks around them]

[*They scan people as they run by, screaming]

[Ahhhh shit]

[*They run over to Bezaliel, weaving through the crowd]

[*It's too loud and chaotic, even for them]

[*They would like nothing more than to open a rift in space and hide away until the chaos washes over]

[*They open their interface and begin hurriedly typing in commands and calculations]

[I'm going to try and free some subspace between you and the artifact. Don't move.]

[*They skid to a halt a few meters before him, wary of everything and everyone around them]

“Is this better?.. I can try to find another place, just tell me.. I.. fear the death and fall of humans always seems to haunt me.. I.. I could never stop their fall.. I am such a fool..”

*It then proceeded to teleport all part members somewhere new once again, the golden light seems almost….dimmer this time around. Like it’s running out of energy*

*When you all are able to see again, you’re on a wooden ship on what looks to be the river Styx. Looks like this is before the war, before the river turned to a grand ocean.*

*The tesseract detaches from Bezaliel’s hand and flys off to who knows where on the ship. That might end up being an issue-*

*In the darkness, 15 little eyes stare at the new group. Watching, waiting.*

*suddenly a voice rings out in the distance*

GABRIEL. COME BACK HERE.

*The eyes in the darkness look over to where the sound came from and take off in the other direction*

*Suddenly, someone appears. Their face is covered by a hood but their body language tells you that they are scared shitless*

…who in the world are you people.

Bezaliel was seemingly frozen in place, he recognized that voice and attire… why… was he reacting like this now..? Almost as if on command, the Supreme Angel kneeled down, his left knee on the ground while the other remained raised… his head bowed… this was instinctual… he knew who he was in the presence of… even if the others didn’t, he’d still show respect…

“…Apologies, for our sudden appearance… young master… we mean no harm… is assistance required..? I am at your service… Archangel Michael…”

He could hear Bezaliel’s reaction, could hear Archangel Michael speaking, but it all felt as if it was coming through a haze, where he just couldn’t… focus on it through his own panic.

Give him a few minutes to stop trembling, he’ll… probably be fine.

[*They've already had enough of a headache trying to resolve the incidents with the artifact, they did not need another interrogation]

*Cassiel mumbled to V1. Seeing Michael only made him remember his husband.. That didn't really help since he started getting more anxious..*

“…Archangel Gabriel is very fast… if we are to get the Tesseract back from him, we need to act together this time..! Cassiel, brother… you follow me… Ori, V1, Hopper you three take the other side of the ship… do not leave each other’s sight, understood..? Archangel Michael… we are here to help… just give us the word…”

He was really starting to hate that orb. Ori took a few steps towards V1 and Hopper, shaking out his wings to try and feel more ready for the chase that was about to ensue.

It seems to have recalibrated itself?

[*They grumble and join Ori, trying their hardest not to curse out anyone nearby]

[*They just want to get rid of this stupid artifact and leave.]

If that thing he was holding is as dangerous as you claim, then we need to get him. Fast.

I will warn that he’s a fast little fucker. Splitting up to find him is the best idea right now, do NOT scare him or else we start this entire fucking process all over again.

*Seeing that Cass has already left, to the starboard side actually, he turns and points to Ori and Bez respectively*

“…Cassiel, brother… I hope you know what you are doing… anyways… Archangel Michael… considering how fast Archangel Gabriel is… do you have any ideas on how to catch him..? Chasing does not seem like a good idea…”

He glanced over at V1 and Hopper, hoping it wasn’t noticeable the way he was trembling as he stood, not bothering to hustle to do anything.

“Right. The… ferryman.”

His voice was hoarse and wobbly, rough even as he looked towards where the Ferryman would reside on the ship. Cassiel and Bezaliel were probably going to find the kid anyways, but someone could talk to the Ferryman in their little group, if only just for information.

*So with the tesseract seemingly glued to Bezaliel’s hand, it started to drag him away. Catching the attention of quite a few bystanders*

Bezaliel struggled heavily against the Tesseract, his pitch black wings flapping frantically, reopening a few wounds from a past incident… tears fell from his pure white right eye and the vertical eye on his throat as the Supreme Angel fought for his freedom… he couldn’t… this failure… not again… NOT AGAIN!!

“This was all your fault, Bezaliel… all you had to do was follow… obey me… but no… you decided to betray me instead…”

A searing pain shot through the scars on Bezaliel’s face as the voice of his sadistic fallen Seraphim of a leader echoed in his mind… the tears fell faster… he couldn’t let this happen again… this… the torment… the shadows all around began acting erratically… he couldn’t… being unable to hold back his rage and sorrow… the Supreme Angel let out a shout that he was sure shook the entire palace…

“HEAVEN SHALL FALL!!! HELL WILL BURN!!! THERE IS NO ESCAPING MY SCORN!!! BETTER RUN AND HIDE WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!!! NO ONE ESCAPES THE FATHER’S SHADOWY GLANCE!!! DO YOU HEAR ME?! ALL OF YOU REPROBATES?!”

He couldn’t breathe. The air just couldn’t get into his lungs properly, he wasn’t sure if he wasn’t breathing or if he was hyperventilating, head whipping around as he looked at the chaos unfold.

King Minos is dead.

It was an inevitable event in every single timeline.

The angel killed him.

It was unavoidable. The fall of Lust was part of every universe.

He was shaking. Everything felt weak, like he would collapse if he tried to move, ears ringing. Was spending every day and night trying to prepare for this not enough? Was seeing another version of Minos die really necessary?

He might be crying. He might be screaming too. He wasn’t too sure.

[What is it with people and not knowing how to peacefully change leadership..]

[*Bee sighs deeply, turns down their audial sensors, and looks around them]

[*They scan people as they run by, screaming]

[Ahhhh shit]

[*They run over to Bezaliel, weaving through the crowd]

[*It's too loud and chaotic, even for them]

[*They would like nothing more than to open a rift in space and hide away until the chaos washes over]

[*They open their interface and begin hurriedly typing in commands and calculations]

[I'm going to try and free some subspace between you and the artifact. Don't move.]

[*They skid to a halt a few meters before him, wary of everything and everyone around them]

*Hes not even speaking anymore, didn’t seem to pick up on what cass said either. But he did hear Bezaliel.*

*He doesn’t know if he should attack him first or if he should break down at the question*

*He decides on the former, charging at Bezaliel with the longsword of light. Only to pretty much completely miss, he ends up charging face first into bezaliels wings, the sword doing nothing at all*

Bezaliel flaps his pitch black wings once, which creates enough force to knock the Archangel down, he can’t help but feel bad as he keeps his right foot on Gabriel’s chest armor, preventing him from getting up… the Supreme Angel can tell that someone has control over the Archangel… and he wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be The Council…

“…Do I need to hold you down like this..? Listen… I know not of why we’re here to begin with… nor am I fully aware of your situation… although I can easily guess that The Council has a hand in it… either way… just stand down… Archangel Gabriel…”

“What is your issue? We have not done anything to you.”

Gabriel had attacked them, it wasn’t as if they were hostile from the beginning. They had just been teleported here, and had barely taken a breath before Gabriel had started his attack.

They hadn’t done anything. His hands tightened around his knives, wings flaring out in an attempt to intimidate.

[*They dart back to the battle]

“Bez.. Should we..?”

*Its really only now does the ache in his chest return. His distraction gone, he feels all the pain he was pushing away rushing back*

*He was still shaking and now his voice was breaking.

Bezaliel didn’t need to know more on the subject, he knew what Gabriel was talking about… his deceased daughter… Holly… sorrow washed over the Supreme Angel exhaled and helped the Archangel up and hugged him tightly on instinct, his still injured pitch black wings wrapping around Gabriel, he understood the pain… even though his disciple didn’t die… she’s been missing for decades… it hurt so much…

“…Just let it out…”

He leaned against the wall by the exit of the room silently, just watching everything play out. He kept his weapons in hand, ready to attack again if needed, the cut on his side still bleeding sluggishly.

Then at Gabriel and Bezaliel

[Where's Hopper when you fucking need them..]

[*They walk over to Ori, pulling out a few medical supplies from their bag]

[*They slap a piece of duct tape over the tear in their suit, somewhat blocking the gas from leaking out]

[You. Random guy. You probably need medical attention]

*When he heard Gabriel, he knew that feeling.. he knew it too much.. He was glad he brought his mask when he started crying softly, silently.. He looked around, slowly approaching V1 and looking at him.*

“..Child of men..”

*He kept crying, yet he made sure it wasn't noticeable on his voice. He figured out that neither Ori nor Bezaliel needed his help, since Bezaliel was comforting Gabriel and Ori was already being attended.*

*He was startled by being pulled into an embrace like like though, jumping a bit but eventually accepting the embrace*

*The tesseract started to act up again, the ball of metal stated to flicker to life and tiny sparkles could be seen appearing around it. It randomly appears near Cassiel, it was NOT there before-*

She just….disappeared. No one a find her. I looked for 500 years.

How in the father’s name can someone of that status just….disappear.

*He started to try and get out of Bezaliel’s wings, not teleporting out of it, just squirming a bit*

*Now that you can really hear his voice, he sounds younger. Not as aged and worn down by time, it nice to listen to but a bit odd to hear*

Bezaliel didn’t fight to keep the Archangel in his grasp, he didn’t want things to get worse, so instead, he allowed Gabriel to do as he pleased, the Supreme Angel understanding everything… how much this hurt… he was also stuck in this Gabriel’s mindset when it came to his disciple… even now… he didn’t even notice that the Tesseract was acting up again… he was too emotional…

“…As the Shadow of God… I should know these things… but I don’t… I apologize deeply, Archangel Gabriel… if… I truly had known where she went… she would be back with you..! I speak no lies..! This… I… apologies… please… forgive me..!”

"I am fine. There is not anything to bandage."

His voice was defensive, clearly not wanting or trusting anyone he didn't know to get too closer to him. They didn't... look like an angel, but there was still something in his mind that was screaming to not let anyone look at where he was injured.

[*While their helmet obscures any facial expression, they seem clearly low on patience]

[Or alternatively, you can bleed out and suffer]

*He looked at the Tesseract, why was it there?.. He moved away from it, a spear made of star shards materialized into his hand, protecting V1 from it. He nodded and hugged them.*

“Thank you, child of men.. Can you tell the others about.. this?..”

*He asked softly, smiling beneath his mask as he petted V1 softly, then, focused again on the Tesseract.*

It is no fault of yours…such unfortunate circumstances are not able to be caused or manipulated by one person.

*Gabriel was actually quite quiet until he spotted the floating ball of doom and despair*

Wait what is that thing. What in the world have you brought into this situation.

Get control of that THING before it does something!

*seemingly taking a cue from Gabriel to cause issues, one by one the tesseract enveloped everyone in a beam of holy light again, before disappearing itself*

*a few moments later the golden light dissipates slowly, remnants of it swirling in the air with golden specks floating around. The tesseract falls and hits V1 in the head-*

*You’re all in a garden now, the sky suggests it’s somewhere in lust. The city to be specific.*

*The garden is grand and lavish and beautiful. Orchids sprouting from the ground next to dogwood trees. Weeping willows and their gentile hanging branches with groups of lily’s at their roots. Walls of vines with flowers of every color sprouting from them.*

*The garden is surrounded by walls, but they’re far off, this is quite a big garden. The walls are stone bricks, stacked high and sturdy. This almost looks like an old palace back in lust*

*This almost looks like Minos’s old home*

Bezaliel stumbles to his feet once again, a little irate by the fact that the Tesseract decided to be a piece of shit during such an emotional moment… exhaling, the Supreme Angel looked around, taking in the scenery, it was obvious to him… this was Lust… a pang of guilt struck him and he quickly turned to Ori, knowing full well how badly this would affect the Fallen Angel… taking a breath, Bezaliel summons a bunch of shadows and has them surround Ori, forming a barrier around him

“…Weapons at the ready everyone… you never know what will jump out to attack… Ori… apologies old friend but I must make sure you’re protected… worry not… the shadows will follow you should you decide to go on the offensive… they’re a shield… as for the rest of you… stay close and don’t wander off alone… understood..?”

He took a look around where they had landed, wings tensing. He was incredibly glad his mask was covering his face, covering any distraught expression he must be making. He couldn't handle this, he couldn't be in Minos' home when he was–

When soon, he'd–

Ori only tuned back in when the shadows surrounded him, panicking for a small moment and grabbing for his knives, uncaring of how he was smearing blood on the handle. It took a few more seconds to process that it was just Bezaliel's shadows, and he raised his voice slightly even as it wavered.

"I am fine, Bezaliel! This is unnecessary."

[Geez, racist ass artifact]

[*They take a couple moments to scan their surroundings, trying to get a reading on time and place]

[Not sure I've been here before... Weird shit]

[*They look back at V1]

[You good, buddy?]

“Are you okay, child of men? I.. Where are we?..”

*He said, looking around and offering V1 a hug. The weeping willows and the flowers in general reminded him a lot of Taika, it made him sigh softly.. His little one.. He was so glad he didn't brought her..*

“Do you want me to carry you?..”

*They call out*

'Is someone there? There is no reason to cower and hide, I swear to you all that thee are under my protection here?

*It's Minos, he sounds different though. More lively, like his vocal cords are within flesh instead of near incorporeal material.*

My name is Minos, I am the reigning judge of hell. You have no need to fear, I am not like the cruel angels of this place.

*He sounds genuine, warm in his words. He had always been like that, gentile and kind to every soul.*

*He comes out of the brush, he is indeed still corporal. He has the appearance of an old man but he looks strong, for an old man at least*

Bezaliel could feel his whole body trembling, but not in fear… no, in a mix of sadness and happiness… the Supreme Angel knew this was just the past but… seeing the King of Lust alive… human… like he was before The Council forced Gabriel to kill him… gentle, caring… Bezaliel couldn’t hold back his tears… he pathetically fell to his knees… crying silently… the despair outweighing the happiness… he… couldn’t do anything back then… to stop them… he was too busy trying to make sure certain souls remained in the Void…

“…T-That… fucking orb..! I-It… can’t keep doing this..! I..! D-Damnit..! W-Why..?!”

This was like a nightmare to him so far, first putting him in the room where he had fallen to, and now this…? A world where Minos was still alive, a mirror of his own, while Ori was stuck knowing he couldn’t do anything to save him? That he would fail in his own world?

His wings were drawn tightly to his back, not moving to comfort Bezaliel, nothing. Just silent agony as tears rolled down his face, hidden under his mask. He felt sick.

[*They tense up a bit in a mix of concern and anxiety, reaching for their weapon in its holster]

[*They hear Minos from down the hall and relax a bit]

[...Why the fuck is everyone panicking? He doesn't sound like a threat- With all due respect]

“K-King Minos..? A-.. human.. after all of these years.. I-I.. Can't believe it.”

*He whispered, lowly, not to anyone, but to himself, and maybe to V1 too. He moved closer to Minos..*

“King Minos.. I-.. My name is Cassiel, and these are my friends. We are.. surprised to see you.. Can we stay here? If it's not a problem for you..”

*Cassiel moved away from V1 and talked directly to Minos, bowing at the presence of The King..*

Wait a moment…how exactly did thou even get in the garden? The walls reach to high and not a single guard hath seen ye fly over them

*He very quickly notices that everyone seems either shocked or some level or confused*

Indeed I take on a human appearance, but I can assure ye that I am far from it. This is hell itself ye are speaking of, although I am quite confused on why you are so startled by this fact

Clouded, misty vision, muffled voices, Bezaliel couldn’t tell what was going on in the present moment, he was too caught up in the past… in his memories… in his failures… tears endlessly fell from his pure white right eye and the vertical eye on his throat…

The Supreme Angel’s pitch black wings drooped fully onto the grass, he didn’t even try to block out that damned voice in his head… he couldn’t get up to run… he couldn’t fly off… could he even call for his shadows in this state..?

When Minos directed a question at him, it took a moment to respond, his voice… weak. He sounded as sick as he felt.

“I… am fine…”

Every time he repeated those words, he sounded less and less convincing. The wound itself wasn’t very painful, he had fought through worse, but the more emotions he felt, the more ill he seemed. He didn’t move back from Minos, practically unable to, frozen at the sight of him.

“I have had worse.”

It’s never seen anything that looked human in years

[*They glance between everyone, before deeply sighing]

*..He was real, right?..The other's have been ignoring him for a while now, it seemed as if only V1 knew of his existence. He sighed again and gently hugged the machine, hoping it didn't make it uncomfortable.. He really wished to go back home.. He felt so.. left out, at least he had the machine by his side.. right?*

*So much was happening at once, Minos just wanted to take a walk in his garden….*

He didn’t want to sit down– sitting down meant giving his body enough time to rest and think, sending him spiralling even further from where he already was. His head was a chaotic mess that wasn’t slowing down, hadn’t slowed down in a significant amount of time.

He continued to stare at Minos, wings curling around himself protectively even as he wanted to break entirely. He deserved to be reminded of this failure, the way his Minos was doomed because of his inability to protect those he loves.

He didn’t have much more fight in him about the wound. His brain was still screaming at him about letting anyone near him, about the vulnerability, but… Minos had asked.

“……Okay.”

He didn’t deserve his kindness even in this alternate… wherever they were. He slowly walked in behind Minos, sticking to the back of the group.

[Sounds good, appreciate it]

[*They pause for a moment]

[Heavenly crisis..? Hope it's nothing too serious]

[*They begin scanning their surroundings, trying to analyze whatever they can around them]

*Cassiel only nodded, hiding his bleeding wing behind his back as he started walking into the palace too, staying behind all of them.*

*People running all over the place in what is really a very coordinated dance of sorts. Everyone rambling about something none of you can properly decipher. Until one runs by hopper and is murdering under their breath*

Why is an archangel here…why couldn’t it have been like a power or something…at least the powers tend to not openly carry weapons…

*One comes up to Minos and whispers something in his ear and he goes pale. Quickly putting down Bezaliel near Ori*

*The garden is grand and lavish and beautiful. Orchids sprouting from the ground next to dogwood trees. Weeping willows and their gentile hanging branches with groups of lily’s at their roots. Walls of vines with flowers of every color sprouting from them.*

*The garden is surrounded by walls, but they’re far off, this is quite a big garden. The walls are stone bricks, stacked high and sturdy. This almost looks like an old palace back in lust*

Bezaliel stumbles to his feet once again, a little irate by the fact that the Tesseract decided to be a piece of shit during such an emotional moment… exhaling, the Supreme Angel looked around, taking in the scenery, it was obvious to him… this was Lust… a pang of guilt struck him and he quickly turned to Ori, knowing full well how badly this would affect the Fallen Angel… taking a breath, Bezaliel summons a bunch of shadows and has them surround Ori, forming a barrier around him

“…Weapons at the ready everyone… you never know what will jump out to attack… Ori… apologies old friend but I must make sure you’re protected… worry not… the shadows will follow you should you decide to go on the offensive… they’re a shield… as for the rest of you… stay close and don’t wander off alone… understood..?”

He took a look around where they had landed, wings tensing. He was incredibly glad his mask was covering his face, covering any distraught expression he must be making. He couldn't handle this, he couldn't be in Minos' home when he was–

*he points at the center of the room, there sat sat a simple golden sphere on a velvet cushion, encased in glass and chains made of light.*

That is what the elders called ‘The tesseract.’ It’s a highly unstable little thing. Or at least it was back in the elders of heavens day…best not to touch it

“…Do I need to hold you down like this..? Listen… I know not of why we’re here to begin with… nor am I fully aware of your situation… although I can easily guess that The Council has a hand in it… either way… just stand down… Archangel Gabriel…”

“What is your issue? We have not done anything to you.”

Gabriel had attacked them, it wasn’t as if they were hostile from the beginning. They had just been teleported here, and had barely taken a breath before Gabriel had started his attack.

They hadn’t done anything. His hands tightened around his knives, wings flaring out in an attempt to intimidate.

Bezaliel didn’t need to know more on the subject, he knew what Gabriel was talking about… his deceased daughter… Holly… sorrow washed over the Supreme Angel exhaled and helped the Archangel up and hugged him tightly on instinct, his still injured pitch black wings wrapping around Gabriel, he understood the pain… even though his disciple didn’t die… she’s been missing for decades… it hurt so much…

“…Just let it out…”

He leaned against the wall by the exit of the room silently, just watching everything play out. He kept his weapons in hand, ready to attack again if needed, the cut on his side still bleeding sluggishly.

Then at Gabriel and Bezaliel

[Where's Hopper when you fucking need them..]

[*They walk over to Ori, pulling out a few medical supplies from their bag]

[*They slap a piece of duct tape over the tear in their suit, somewhat blocking the gas from leaking out]

[You. Random guy. You probably need medical attention]

*When he heard Gabriel, he knew that feeling.. he knew it too much.. He was glad he brought his mask when he started crying softly, silently.. He looked around, slowly approaching V1 and looking at him.*

“..Child of men..”

*He kept crying, yet he made sure it wasn't noticeable on his voice. He figured out that neither Ori nor Bezaliel needed his help, since Bezaliel was comforting Gabriel and Ori was already being attended.*

*He was startled by being pulled into an embrace like like though, jumping a bit but eventually accepting the embrace*

*The tesseract started to act up again, the ball of metal stated to flicker to life and tiny sparkles could be seen appearing around it. It randomly appears near Cassiel, it was NOT there before-*

She just….disappeared. No one a find her. I looked for 500 years.

How in the father’s name can someone of that status just….disappear.

*He started to try and get out of Bezaliel’s wings, not teleporting out of it, just squirming a bit*

*Now that you can really hear his voice, he sounds younger. Not as aged and worn down by time, it nice to listen to but a bit odd to hear*

Bezaliel didn’t fight to keep the Archangel in his grasp, he didn’t want things to get worse, so instead, he allowed Gabriel to do as he pleased, the Supreme Angel understanding everything… how much this hurt… he was also stuck in this Gabriel’s mindset when it came to his disciple… even now… he didn’t even notice that the Tesseract was acting up again… he was too emotional…

“…As the Shadow of God… I should know these things… but I don’t… I apologize deeply, Archangel Gabriel… if… I truly had known where she went… she would be back with you..! I speak no lies..! This… I… apologies… please… forgive me..!”

"I am fine. There is not anything to bandage."

His voice was defensive, clearly not wanting or trusting anyone he didn't know to get too closer to him. They didn't... look like an angel, but there was still something in his mind that was screaming to not let anyone look at where he was injured.

[*While their helmet obscures any facial expression, they seem clearly low on patience]

[Or alternatively, you can bleed out and suffer]

*He looked at the Tesseract, why was it there?.. He moved away from it, a spear made of star shards materialized into his hand, protecting V1 from it. He nodded and hugged them.*

“Thank you, child of men.. Can you tell the others about.. this?..”

*He asked softly, smiling beneath his mask as he petted V1 softly, then, focused again on the Tesseract.*

It is no fault of yours…such unfortunate circumstances are not able to be caused or manipulated by one person.

*a few moments later the golden light dissipates slowly, remnants of it swirling in the air with golden specks floating around. The tesseract falls and hits V1 in the head-*

*You’re all in a garden now, the sky suggests it’s somewhere in lust. The city to be specific.*

*The garden is grand and lavish and beautiful. Orchids sprouting from the ground next to dogwood trees. Weeping willows and their gentile hanging branches with groups of lily’s at their roots. Walls of vines with flowers of every color sprouting from them.*

*The garden is surrounded by walls, but they’re far off, this is quite a big garden. The walls are stone bricks, stacked high and sturdy. This almost looks like an old palace back in lust*

*This almost looks like Minos’s old home*

Bezaliel stumbles to his feet once again, a little irate by the fact that the Tesseract decided to be a piece of shit during such an emotional moment… exhaling, the Supreme Angel looked around, taking in the scenery, it was obvious to him… this was Lust… a pang of guilt struck him and he quickly turned to Ori, knowing full well how badly this would affect the Fallen Angel… taking a breath, Bezaliel summons a bunch of shadows and has them surround Ori, forming a barrier around him

“…Weapons at the ready everyone… you never know what will jump out to attack… Ori… apologies old friend but I must make sure you’re protected… worry not… the shadows will follow you should you decide to go on the offensive… they’re a shield… as for the rest of you… stay close and don’t wander off alone… understood..?”

He took a look around where they had landed, wings tensing. He was incredibly glad his mask was covering his face, covering any distraught expression he must be making. He couldn't handle this, he couldn't be in Minos' home when he was–

Ori only tuned back in when the shadows surrounded him, panicking for a small moment and grabbing for his knives, uncaring of how he was smearing blood on the handle. It took a few more seconds to process that it was just Bezaliel's shadows, and he raised his voice slightly even as it wavered.

"I am fine, Bezaliel! This is unnecessary."

[*They take a couple moments to scan their surroundings, trying to get a reading on time and place]

[Not sure I've been here before... Weird shit]

[*They look back at V1]

*He said, looking around and offering V1 a hug. The weeping willows and the flowers in general reminded him a lot of Taika, it made him sigh softly.. His little one.. He was so glad he didn't brought her..*

'Is someone there? There is no reason to cower and hide, I swear to you all that thee are under my protection here?

*It's Minos, he sounds different though. More lively, like his vocal cords are within flesh instead of near incorporeal material.*

*He sounds genuine, warm in his words. He had always been like that, gentile and kind to every soul.*

*He comes out of the brush, he is indeed still corporal. He has the appearance of an old man but he looks strong, for an old man at least*

Bezaliel could feel his whole body trembling, but not in fear… no, in a mix of sadness and happiness… the Supreme Angel knew this was just the past but… seeing the King of Lust alive… human… like he was before The Council forced Gabriel to kill him… gentle, caring… Bezaliel couldn’t hold back his tears… he pathetically fell to his knees… crying silently… the despair outweighing the happiness… he… couldn’t do anything back then… to stop them… he was too busy trying to make sure certain souls remained in the Void…

“…T-That… fucking orb..! I-It… can’t keep doing this..! I..! D-Damnit..! W-Why..?!”

This was like a nightmare to him so far, first putting him in the room where he had fallen to, and now this…? A world where Minos was still alive, a mirror of his own, while Ori was stuck knowing he couldn’t do anything to save him? That he would fail in his own world?

His wings were drawn tightly to his back, not moving to comfort Bezaliel, nothing. Just silent agony as tears rolled down his face, hidden under his mask. He felt sick.

[*They tense up a bit in a mix of concern and anxiety, reaching for their weapon in its holster]

Do not touch or move anything, and under no circumstances should you get too close to that

*he points at the center of the room, there sat sat a simple golden sphere on a velvet cushion, encased in glass and chains made of light.*

That is what the elders called ‘The tesseract.’ It’s a highly unstable little thing. Or at least it was back in the elders of heavens day…best not to touch it

Bezaliel flaps his pitch black wings once, which creates enough force to knock the Archangel down, he can’t help but feel bad as he keeps his right foot on Gabriel’s chest armor, preventing him from getting up… the Supreme Angel can tell that someone has control over the Archangel… and he wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out to be The Council…

“…Do I need to hold you down like this..? Listen… I know not of why we’re here to begin with… nor am I fully aware of your situation… although I can easily guess that The Council has a hand in it… either way… just stand down… Archangel Gabriel…”

“What is your issue? We have not done anything to you.”

Gabriel had attacked them, it wasn’t as if they were hostile from the beginning. They had just been teleported here, and had barely taken a breath before Gabriel had started his attack.
