Tumbl Cloudflare custom domain woes

So because I’m making this blog semi-serious I thought about making a semi serious subdomain for it on my personal domain.

Right now I have my DNS for said domain set up through Cloudflare. It’s really really cool, and can speed up your websites and save bandwidth a fair bit. The only problem is...

... Tumblr really REALLY fucking hates Cloudflare for some unearthly reason, claiming it as ‘not supported’. This isn’t new, apparently it’s been happening since a few years back.

On the upside, I still have a DNS service set up with NearlyFreeSpeech.net, where I registered my domain (You should totally sign up with them btw, they’re a super cool unmanaged registrar with super cool privacy options).

On the downside, seems I’ve had it turned off for the past 6 months because I was using Cloudflare’s DNS in its place, now I have to wait 24 hours for the DNS changes to propagate through the internet the world wide web.

I’ll make a follow-up around the same time tomorrow hopefully
