Richard lived with his sister Rosa and her second husband Gilbert in the late 1970s. Richard and Rosa would smoke weed together every day, and Richard would also take acid often. According to Gilbert, Richard became more aggressive when he was on acid, and he talked about sex a lot. He would also talk about the devil and about evil. Alejandro would be receiving the second-largest chunk of the bounty reward because he provided the link between the stolen items of murder victims and Richard Ramirez. However, Alejandro went missing and never collected his $6,388.81 reward.
