There's so few people that I talk to, and I even have a hard time talking to them...

It just seems like people don't care/ want to hear what I have to say, and so I end up feeling stupid when I just keep talking and realize after the fact that they were just trying not to be rude...

It makes me not want to talk, but I know that isn't going to help anything...

I shouldn't let others opinions dictate my thoughts or actions, but I shouldn't disregard their perspective/ how I make them feel (seemingly uncomfortable) either.

It just feels like living in a confusing and lonely contradiction...

If I'm having a conversation with someone, and another person that they know walks up and starts talking to them, I'll just stop responding to the convo...

I don't want to say something and that other person be like "was I even talking to you?"

So I'll just stop talking and hope they leave before I do so I can finish my conversation, otherwise I'll just say "later 😊" and walk away.

There's a small exception being if the 3rd party includes me.

This is a me problem that I need to work on. Logically I know most people won't respond to me that way, even if they don't know me or I say something they don't personally agree with.

It's just hard to get over that feeling. 😅
