“Bones! Isn’t it beautiful!” Jim’s smile grew wider as he looks at his friend for approval. 

Leonard didn’t respond immediately as he pulls his eyes away from the falling stars and focuses onto the man next to him. With the night sky as the background, Jim looks almost ephemeral, glowing lightly with his hair locks swaying softly with the winds. Beautiful. 

But none of that could match the beauty that is Jim’s joy in his smile. That glee was contagious as Leonard’s own lips twitch upwards. “Yeah…very.”

Recently the Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter had it’s city funding cut due to claims of transphobia. That means that they will lose out on $34,312 that the city had originally approved. Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter is Canada’s oldest rape crisis center, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The shelter was established in 1973 and has operated a feminist transition house since 1983, offering women shelter from men who are abusing them, including fathers, husbands, sons, pimps, johns and landlords.

This is one of the few female spaces left for women in need. Please consider helping:
