If you would like to use a chosen name or nickname on your library account, please let staff know! If you add a chosen name to you account, here is where you will notice changes! Automated notices sent to your e-mail or home address will now use your chosen name. (This can be turned off at your request!) When you call over the phone, you will be able to give either your chosen or legal name to pull up your account. Holds will be placed under your chosen name. Your online account at link will use your chosen name.

Public libraries purchase and display books based on popularity and demand. The more queer material taken out, the more inclined public libraries are to add more queer material.

This is also a reminder that libraries often carry DVDs and TV shows if you don’t want to physically read a book.
