Imagine if you got wrongfully stuck in the world's worst, most psychologically torturous solitary confinement prison on complete accident without anybody knowing you ended up there and being completely unable to ask for help or even see yourself and the only reason you escaped is because of an accident that you're not even given a moment to process cause now you need to fulfill your entire life's mission only to fail and realize everything you've ever been told is a lie and you have no time to process that either since you need to take down your world's biggest villain and even after that you have to go back to pretending like it never happened and you have no idea how or even who to talk about it to because you've never been given the space to be genuinely emotionally vulnerable with anyone wouldn't that be fucked up or what

While I do appreciate all the opportunities that Maddie having a dead or missing mother provides for story reasons, I truly do believe that it's just as if not more likely that Hatter just pulled her out of his hat one day and rolled with it

I don't think people talk enough about the fact that THE MAD HATTER was the one who officiated red and badwolf wedding- like, hello?

RV!EAH Thumbell concept
I was thinking about the legacy of Thumbelina in the context of RV!EAH. For some context, in the story Thumbelina is born from a tulip and raised by a regular sized woman. So my idea for RV!EAH is that, unlike other characters who are their storyβs protagonist, the destiny of Thumbelina is not passed down through parentage. Basically, Thumbell was not born to the previous Thumbelina, nor was she raised. (The legacy that is passed down through is the role of the Flower Fairy Prince, whose parents would be the previous generationβs Thumbelina and Flower Fairy Prince).
Thumbell was born from a plant and raised by her human mother. She has an older sister whoβs graduated from Ever After High, whose destiny is to raise the next Thumbelina after Thumbell.
Also, Thumbelina gets a new name at the end of the story, so I imagine each generation of Thumbelina is only known as Thumbelina/some variant of it until they complete their story and get a new name. Iβm imagining some sort of mini-arc for Thumbell where she gets to choose her own name, which is obviously Nina.

Guess who got nostalgic again
