off topic but can you plz plz PLZ make a master post for your skincare routine you’re a fucking goddess hoochy
You are TOO kind but sure, I can do that! Disclaimer: I’ve got combo skin and I used to be acne prone but not so much anymore.
Cleansers:
- La Roche-Posay’s Effaclar foaming gel or Hada Labo’s Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Face Foam
Sunscreens:
- Biore’s UV aqua rich
- Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Fluid
- Atm, it’s OMI’s Sun Bears Strong Plus Waterproof Sunscreen
Toner (every 3 days)
- T.N. Dickson’s Witch Hazel
Moisturiser:
- Neutrogena’s Hydro boost (water gel)
- Neutrogena’s Bright Boost (overnight)
Eye stuff:
- Neutrogena’s Hydro-Boost eye roll-on
- A dab of Summer Friday’s jet lag mask
- A thin layer of Homeoplasmine
Serums (I use them for different things):
- The Ordinary’s Ninamicide 10% + Zinc 1% in the AM (under moisturiser and sunscreen)
- The Ordinary’s Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% in the PM
Masks (again, for different things)
- ialuset (read the instruction very carefully or you’ll burn your face!)
- Caudalie’s Instant Detox Mask
- Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask
- REN’s Glycolic Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask (only at night and be mindful that you’ll have to wear sunscreen the next morning or you’ll risk your skin peeling)
- The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution (same case with REN)
- frank body’s brightening vitamin C mask (great for when you’re feeling dull and you only have 5 mins in the morning)
Pimple cream:
- Body shop’s Tea tree oil
- Malin + Goetz’s acne treatment daytime (it goes on as a clear layer so you can put makeup over it!)
Other tips and advice:
- Drink a lot of water (you are groaning me, I know but it honestly helps plump your skin)
- Keep it simple! Find what works for you and try not to pile different products on top of the other. If you keep switching up then your skin will know and will freak out!
- A good blush makes a whole lot of difference to how your skin looks tbh (if you need recs, feel free to send me a message!)
- You don’t need to spend a lot of cleansers and same goes for makeup removers
- Try not to wear foundation everyday and give your skin some time to breath. It’s better to wear a thin layer overall and ham it up with concealer in problem areas
- Don’t over exfoliate! I know it feels like you’re doing something but it’s doing more damage in the long run
