wow this product placement for olive chicken is like, so obvious
Watched king eternal monarch and phew! that was a lot to put up with. I still don't know whether I liked it or not. But: I MISSED THE FOUND FAMILY IN THE END. Yes yes they are in different worlds, their lives took different ways, blablabla... I want to see Yeong, Eun soep, Ha-Ri, Shin Jae, Lee Gon and Ta Eul all together as a happy found family!!!
(their "happy" ending is at least better than 2 weeks a year in Switzerland... But they somehow seem so lonely, traveling all parallel universes without friends...).
The king: eternal monarch (2020) | ep 16
Gonjo but it's mitski's cover of how deep is your love.
Yeong's entire life is breathing, sleeping, living devotion to his pyeha, deep as an ocean. He'd give up his life; take any hits or danger for himself while asking for more if it'd guarantee gon's safety.
So I have been rewatching tkem, Iāve been thinking about the Episode 16 scene in The King: Eternal Monarch and something about Yeongās injuries still confuses me.
And it all comes down to this HOW BADLY WAS YEONG INJURED?
Yeong was shot from a very close distance. In one of the shots you can literally see blood coming out with the bullets. That means the shots were serious.
He also took multiple bullets. I even remember pausing the scene and counting the bullet holes in his back.
So Yeong could have been very seriously injured.
But at the same time, how serious were his injuries really? They canāt be too light because he fainted. His hands are bloody, but is that actually his blood?
People can faint even if they arenāt fatally injured. For example, Eun-sup fainted when he got shot even though his injury wasnāt that severe.
So maybe Yeong fainted because of pain and exhaustion.
But then another question appears: how did he survive long enough for Gon to get him out?
Gon first had to kill his uncle. That alone takes time. After that he has to run back to where Yeong is while also avoiding the royal guards.
When Gon gets inside, he doesnāt immediately know where Yeong is because Yeong is further in the back. So he probably panics and searches for him. It might not take very long, but itās still time passing.
When he finally finds Yeong, Yeong is already unconscious. Gon probably tries to wake him up or at least checks if heās still alive.
But after that Gon still has to carry Yeong to the horses and escape. And eventually he has to take Yeong back through the timeline.
The magic flute is whole now, so it works differently than before. Even if the flute sends him back to his timeline instantly, what if they appear somewhere like the middle of the forest? Royal guards could notice them.
A helicopter could be brought in, but landing one would take time. They would need to clear a patch of forest first, and that whole process isnāt fast.
So the real question is: how did Yeong survive all of that?
