War. War never changes. When humankind moved from guns and knives to the destructive force of the atom bomb, the history of our species was changed forever.

Many thought that mutually assured destruction would be what saved the world. However, it’s what did it in. When nations began to drop bombs on one another, the fire that reigned from the sky became too much for most to handle. The radioactive fallout that covered the earth quickly plunged it into a state of apocalypse, killing most who were unfortunate enough to be alive at the time of the war.

Some, however, took shelter in massive, underground vaults, where they were spared from the horrors of nuclear devastation. You are among those few.

It is here, in Vault 19, where you are safe.

Or so you thought.

As you hide from the horrors of the wasteland, another type of hell awaits you in the corridors of your vault: a game of mutual killing.
