I had a fun idea about watching grey's with jack and then it never left my brain
author's note: I wrote so much that I decided I needed to break this into parts. I got fixated on making sure my comments were aligned with the episode order, so it looks like I'll be making a part for every season đ

For the sake of these ramblings/headcanons, I'm writing so the show wouldn't be too triggering for Jack. I know many people who get emotional over Greyâs, and I know people who work in the medical field and spend most of their time scoffing at the drama and correcting the medicine. My point is that the audience has diverse reactions, and Jack, being someone with trauma and working in the medical field, doesnât mean that this show would be a huge trigger for him.
That being said, my characterization of Jack does recognize that there will probably be some episodes/scenes where he needs comforting, reassurance, or just needs to be skipped entirely for his mental health.

â he might be passive or willing to watch it bc he knows these shows are focused on drama more than actual medicine. he knows theyâre filled with medical inaccuracies and messy drama, so it could actually be kind of entertaining. he knows that the drama is different than his daily chaos.
â (depending on how you characterize jack/view his mental health) he might even think the show could be entertaining bc no matter how badly these people mess up, the patient will either make a lucky recovery or the person who dies wasnât an actualâlike his patients
â (itâs not the first, one of many actually. he dealt with the weekly release of the summer i turned pretty season 3 for you).
â (you werenât dating during the previous 2 seasons so he would just listen to you ramble on about context from previous episodes or your analysis on how something from this episode was actually connected to something else).

â You would just have to sit there, either smiling bc ofc he would say something like that, or in shock bc how the hell did he just say that so casually???
â I like to think that he would have more issues with Burke bc he pursued Christina when she was actively an intern under him, and even though Derrick also went after Meredith, at least he met her before he knew
â I feel like part of him would feel icky for relating to Derrick, bc he hates to think that he caused you any problems, stress, or hurt when he was yearning for you.
â Even if you're just joking and say, "Well, you were my attending," he would get just a little sad or offended, but he knows what you have is different.
â he avoided his feelings for a long time. one of his many reasons was the power imbalance. he isnât the kind of man who just forgets something like that because of his feelings, no matter how strong they are. he may want to, but he cares too much about you to not worry about the consequences or how it could affect you

â i like to think that he just has an intuition about george.
â Yeah he's a "nice guy" but he knows it's more of the "nice guy trope" than him genuinely being kind.
â He'd be suspicious, but when George does something good. "Ok, whatever, I'll give him that, but I'm still weirded out by him" (this is, in fact, what I say to my friends when a guy gives me a weird vibe)
â He would like Meredith and appreciate Christina's sarcastic tendencies
â Do you think Jack had a âliving in the woodsâ phase? I honestly canât decide (This is going to be a multi-part collection of my thoughts, so your opinion is genuinely appreciated)
â He really likes Bailey, obviously. Sheâs a badass surgeon who isnât afraid to speak out when needed, stern but a good teacher, and respects nurses. He hates her nickname, though.
â Addison is honestly a complex character in my mind, so I can see him actually liking her as the show progresses.
â Adele is so great. I think he would really like her and hate how Richard treats her.Â
â So many people have commented on how he is who Owen Hunt thinks he is, and I cannot agree more. Jack Abbot would despise Owen, and no one can convince me otherwise.

"sam-" you choke on a moan, because sam is choking you himself. his hand is tight around your throat, just enough for your world and senses to narrow to only him and nothing else. and it's working. your eyes are rolling to the back of your head, you're seeing white, you almost can't breathe but it all just feels so good.
he leans down to capture your lips into another messy kiss, filled with tongue, spit and desire. you struggle to kiss him back, because you just can't seem to stop moaning.
"look at me" he says between his own groans and whimpers.
