My family didn’t own a tv until a few years ago we just watched things on dvd with this projector we have that’s literally immortal but it just occurred to me that every moment of silence in every movie I’ve seen on it isn’t actually how that silence was meant to be experienced because the projector has its own noise that punctuates it and this is mostly significant because silence has a very very specific effect when used in movies and now I will forever have a special version of emptiness that doesn’t exist for other people and I think that’s really neat

Okay I watched project Hail Mary I understand the hype now I’m no longer upset about the sheer amount of posts I see about it on the daily instead I’m sobbing over “Grace say Grace die. Rocky fix.” I’ve never related to a character more intensely holy shit

I care I care I care I care about you I care about you I care about every marginalized person who is facing the awful people in this world I care about you I care about your bad day or your story I care about your struggles I care about the fucked up thing someone said to you and the fucked up things our government is doing I care about the bugs and the earth and the ocean and about that show that no one else has seen but you want to show me I care about homeless and disabled people I care about lgbtq people I care about it all I care I care I care so I have to keep living because as long as I stay alive I know someone cares and if someone cares change can come and things will be okay
