no it's not bad to bring hypnosubs into us. it's just… okay imagine your arm could consciously think, and it still functioned perfectly normally but all the thoughts it produced were “i love being an arm” “i love wiggling around or holding things or staying entirely still, depending on what's asked of me of course” and such. you wouldn't cut off your arm, but it's weird feedback to get. and in practice it's more as if there were billions of cells throughout your body that sang this kind of tune. so it's—no, it's not particularly self-affirming to enjoy being a collection of cells—so it's a slight annoyance but not actually a serious problem. also you can still join as a sex thing but there's some paperwork we'd really appreciate if you filled out beforehand. yeah, don't worry about it. we can't seem to get the word around about these changes for some reason. thanks a quintillion.
