you know the thing straight white conservative guys do when someone mentions their privilege where they respond “I’m not privileged! My life has been hard too! I’ve suffered! Straight men have problems too! White people have hard lives too!”? That is the exact thing that you are doing if you claim that someone born female can’t possibly have some unique kind of suffering you can’t and won’t experience. Someone else suffering in a way you don’t suffer doesn’t take away from your own suffering, both can be true at once, even small children can grasp this. I’m sorry missing out on the full scope of sexism makes you dysphoric but that is entirely a problem for you to sort out by yourself, just like it’s Racist Guy’s problem to sort out that he feels like he’s missing out on social cred for his suffering because the POC are taking it all.

personally if I was someone with an abuse related fetish derived from a personal experience, I think I would be even more vigilant about the fact that those who seek to abuse others the way that I have been abused would flock to the same fetish spaces. I would not want to associate myself with them in any form whether or not I continued to indulge in my fetish for whatever personal reasons I had. I would especially not try to make it sound like victims are the majority of the people with these fetishes and sharing them publicly when we have things like online "rape academies" that men get into to learn how to drug and rape women, including their partners, because they started watching "amateur" sexual assault videos taken without women's consent as pornography because of their rape fetishes. but maybe that is just me.

i'm sick of white queers acting like incest is some groundbreaking subversive kink. like oh my god it's so cool that you, as a white queer, jerk it to a kink beloved by cishet men, a kink that can't be disentangled from ethnic/racial supremacy & eugenics, a kink fetishizing abuse most often enacted by adults to subjugate literal children to teach them their place & keep them in it. the insidious thing, i've found, is that often the "queering" of incest introduces dynamics that at least the barely legal shit for cishet men generally doesn't, which is the subtler & more insidious ways incest appears; while incest for cishet men sticks to the sexual contact, the people being "queer" with it often fetishize as well the more common ways incest is perpetuated (you know, the myriad of ways it presents without sexual contact of any sort, including things that aren't sexual at all & therefore get regarded as "overbearing" but not incestuous). not that greer is going to do this, just that this is a common trend among people "queering" incest so i'm anticipating it.

but hey, it's all fiction, so who cares as long as it doesn't occur in real life. this is also why we should all be nicer to greer about being a bigoted fuck. they never said black women are violent, aggressive sexual predators; they never said fat people are stupid, gluttonous, and disgusting; they never said anything about trans women (their book doesn't either, just a man with a "woman's" body who uses his pretend womanhood to deceive people on purpose for personal gain, no transmisogyny there!). those things happened in their fiction, but did they say anything about certain marginalized groups being a specific way? nope! it was all fictional, & fiction doesn't say anything about the creator or the enjoyer, so we should all shut up about it forever.
