long time no see tumblr. just stopping by to update my time capsule that i am still happier than ever :3 i live in the peak district now and i’ve taken charge of my health. i work out every day and i quit smoking / vaping over 2 months ago and i eat mostly plant based now. all my friends are still my friends and i have made more friends up here as well, my cup is full to bursting ! i have been dating but i am genuinely just so happy and at peace that i don’t want anyone to ruin that and i’m in no rush to settle down. i am so focused on myself and curating and nurturing my dream life that i can’t even fathom someone else being in the picture rn, but it’s nice to go on dates with no strings attached and just connect with people even if it’s only for a little while. i think human connection is so important, and i have a returning lover every few months which is oddly romantic. every day i get older but i feel younger in my soul by the second. prioritising my joy and whimsy and health and goals has changed my life. how beautiful it is to wake up in my healthy body and look out at the mountains i am surrounded by and take in their fresh air. i am so lucky. i think about my younger self all the time and i want nothing more than to tell her she’s going to be so beyond okay that her positivity will be her most known trait and her attitude of choosing happiness will become so strong that it inspires those around her. she will be so happy she could explode, if only younger me knew! i do it all for her and i am so proud of how i’ve taken care of her. there has been some really really tough times over the last few years and trauma not a lot of people recover from. but she did it. i did it. and i came out the other end stronger than ever and chose to build my dream life on top of that fire in my soul. i have been consistently journaling and junk journaling. i began a reading diary and have read 27 books this year with a goal of 50 books at the end of the year. all classic literature (currently reading the idiot by dostoevsky). my mind, body, heart and soul are all engaged every day and it is the most wonderful and fulfilling feeling. thankful forever and always to myself, for choosing myself, every day 🧘🏼‍♀️🫧🪷🧚🏻‍♂️🫶🏻🌀⛰️
