You know what to do and you have the power to do it.
I'm writing a book about incarnating our own consciousness. It's about who we are and ultimately it's about freedom. 🌴😊🌴 Here is a sneak peek: You know what to do and you have the power to do it. Yes, anxiety creeps in. All of a sudden you feel yourself in a state of agitation that just keeps feeding itself. When is it going to end? How? Be still. Focus. Say to yourself: "I know what to do next and I have the power to do it." But don't just say it. Choose to believe it. This is how we unblock ourselves. This is how we come through the anxiety and back onto our path. We never left our path. We were there all along. We probably sat down and closed our eyes and buried our face in our hands for a little while but that's okay. We were just on the side of the road there, still on our path. Remember that nothing is a distraction and everything is a gift. We are always on our path. Something comes up and seems to abduct and teleport us into a different world, a different realm, and then we are afraid because we can't see our path anymore. We feel disoriented. But it's simply a point in consciousness. All we need to do is remember that we are on the path still. Then we can stand up and say: "I know what to do next and I have the power to do it." And you keep walking. When we choose to believe that this is true, we allow it to incarnate into our reality. How to get to the belief? It's simply a choice. Don't believe it's that simple? It's up to you. We are so used to living and thinking under other people's authority, or the consciousness of other wills, that we are so uncomfortable with our own. But what will you choose to believe? What they told you? Or what is real? What enslaves you or what frees you? Many of us are not ready for freedom, but many of us are. We all desire freedom; we just didn't think the "becoming free part" would feel like this. Yes, it is about freeing ourselves ultimately. It is about choosing what we believe about ourselves and our lives. You were taught to obey and listen to someone else's wisdom. Now you're being asked if you will choose your own. Of course you don't trust yourself; you don't have much practice. But believe me, there comes a point when you realize that you're the person (whose wisdom) you trust most in the whole world. And there comes another moment when you realize that you have the will-power (literally) to choose to listen to and love and serve this innate wisdom. That's your freedom. What will you choose? When I was in college I was fascinated by what I called "the missing link." And it was the point of mystery (the point of freedom) between consciousness and action. What gets us from "I know what the next right step is for me" to the actual action or actually doing it? That leap, that incarnation, that dance between wisdom and will, fascinated and continues to fascinate me. That's the mysterious part of our freedom that can't be foretold or predicted with absolute certainty. Although the more we practice the more likely we are to make this choice over and over again.
