Would it surprise you if I said: not good?

Money can buy you lots of things, caring and loving parents aren’t one of them.

Okay, let’s start with the very beginning, before Yves and Yvelle are even born.

Imagine you’re Yves.

Your parents decide to have you because your oldest sister is preoccupied with being a lawyer and your older sister is considered an idiot by your own parents. You get conceived because your parents want an heir. That’s all you are.

But uh oh! There’s not one but two!

Which makes life only harder.

The twin sister you adore so much is also competing against you without your knowledge. The price for winning? Being the heir. The punishment for losing? Getting sent off to military school and eventually the army to gain the family some military honor like back in the day.

Yves ‘won’. It never felt like winning.

Your twin, your playmate, your best friend, ripped from your life and sent overseas with a huge chance you’ll not be able to see her again and might die in the future as a soldier.

This happens when they are 6.

Your oldest sister tries to do something but quickly gives up. She wasn’t around much for you either. Too busy with her own children who are around your age.

But your older sister tries. She tries and tries and never gives up. Until your twin sister tells her to stop once she’s 16. It’s pointless and she’s already decided to go ahead and join the army.

It breaks your older sister. You know it does. But she’s still there for you. Always. She’s the only one who is.

You grow up separated from your twin sister, emotionally neglected by your parents unless it’s to praise you. Forced to study for hours on end.

The older you get the more you reach out to rebel. Substances and girls your age. You keep it down because your parents and oldest sister scold you. That’s a lie. It’s because your older sister asked you to stop for your own sake. You don’t want her to worry about you.

You grow up a spoiled brat who only knows love from your older sister and your twin who you miss dearly. They are also the only people you love. Substances and women keep you going.

When you finally reunite with your twin again, you refuse to let go. Even though your wife and her wife and pretty much everyone thinks you are acting like a total siscon.

Happy Pride month! I always forget how my country doesn't actually have an official pride month. Everything Pride related like the Amsterdam canal pride takes place end of July to early August. But I like that it's in June since this month is also my Birthday month!

As for how I've been doing, eh. Not great. The heatwave from like a week and a half ago really got me feeling ill. Me and my chronic illness are not made for the heat. Think it's time for me to invest in an Airco.

Writing hasn't been going too well unfortunately. The ideas are there, but putting it on paper is a different story. Plus, me and my writing buddy had a bit of a falling out and it's just not the same without them anymore. No need to worry though, we're rekindeling the friendship as I don't find it worth it to wreck my friendship over some minor issues.

I haven’t played this game in ages and now I’m debating redownloading it just for when she arrives.

It depends a bit on what you mean. Inspiration is totally fine! If I inspired you to write your own fic with your own story and characters than all I will say is please do share it with me! I don’t own futaxfemale stuff so of course it’s alright for others to write their own stuff. That just makes me happy. It’s part of the reason I started writing.

First, sorry for being so late answering, I'm just super exhausted all the time at the moment, sorry!

Well I think I should start off with mentioning that their (the main Hagen family) fast amount of wealth doesn’t go that far back.

Now Sonia (Viveka’s grandmother) was the daughter of a rich bankers family, so that’s where a large sum of their starting funds came from. But Ragnhild, her wife, came from more humble (in comparison) upper middle class beginnings. Her parents owned a successful inn. With some money from Sonia’s side of the family, they started their own inn, took over the original inn and those two eventually became a hotels and those hotels ended up becoming a very successful hotel chain. And that (+a lot of wise investments) is how the family became disgustingly filthy rich. 

Well kinda, because Agatha actually fucked things up when she took over. Things were genuinely not looking good to the point it seemed that the Hagen family would end up losing their wealth after only two generations.

But then Viveka took over, as a young girl no less and turned everything around. Because of this, the main wealth is solely Viveka’s (and Freya’s) as Ragnhild and Sonia were anything but blind to Viveka's competence and Agatha's incompetence.

This is also why it’s Viveka that’s trying to make Vanja and Aune work for the family as well, as not their father but Viveka is the one running everything and from a very young age.

Ragna at least wants to get into politics but she already found her soulmate and she’s not going to do better than Holly.
