Hold it Down is an experiment in mutual aid amongst the subversive writing community in Chicago. Our goal is to create a network of support amongst writers to defend against an ever increasing surveillance culture. We are hosting our first fundraiser gallery this Sunday March 8 (location TBA). As for now, we present this online preview gallery. All pieces listed here are for sale immediately as posted via silent auction ending at the show on Sunday. For information on making a bid online please contact: [email protected] We will be updating the blog with bids and more pieces as the week goes on so pay attention. All proceeds will immediately go to court costs for writers in need. Information on cases and persons involved are sensitive and private and we do not wish to divulge as such.
