I have seen multiple tags and comments about how Wild Hogs was part of people's sexual awakenings. It makes sense! A lot of this blog is ironic but one part is not is how gay this movie is. And reading the script it seemed less so, so in making it a lot of male energy oozed into it and ultimately made it a lot gayer. The beefing up of Gaycop from just rubbing his thigh to outwardly flirting with the Hogs and then essentially smelling their motorcycles. The nature of the Hogs riding together and Dudley needing Woody's help in wooing Maggie but ultimately becoming homo-erotically sexually charged because of the fact they are two single characters unlike Doug or Bobby and chemistry between John Travolta and William H. Macy. Hell, you even have the end credits, which focuses on the Del Fuegos receiving a new bar via Ty Pennington's Home Makeover, they are giddy and embrace each other, shedding their cold exterior they displayed throughout the rest of the film. I will expand on the film's unabashed queerness in the future once I further hog out.
