I was travelling to London when Venus went retrograde and I kind of needed that escape to focus on what really matters. Most of you may have never really paid attention to the Venus Rx before so I want to give you information to take with you once you’ve finished reading this post. It started October 5th with 10° in Scorpio and will end November 16th with 25° in Libra. Venus Rx usually takes up to 40 days / nights before going direct again. During this time issues revolving around love will come up. Though, only problems that have already existed in the past and have never been dealt with. For example, you may have unfinished business with an ex. Now it will resurface since neither of you have faced the problem. Talk it out and find closure. It will not only finally be off your plate and no longer bother you during the upcoming Venus Rxs that are to follow in the future but it will also benefit your self-love too. Which is another topic the Venus Rx will deal with. You having to take the time to sit down and think of what no longer serves you. Let go of the baggage. You feel free once you let go of things that only drag you down. You will see more things clearly during this phase which lead you on the right path if you let it. Self-care is so important I cannot emphasize this enough. You will be more happy overall. See this as the time to define your character and get everything into order again. What is mean to be will always be, so don’t stress too much of deciding to let things go. Now is a great time to shape your own life and find happiness again. Trust in yourself. You can do this 💖

The new moon arrives on October 8th 15 degrees Libra at 9:46pm MST. This new moon combines new beginnings by uncovering our subconscious shadows. Keywords for this new moon are: new beginnings, justice, depth, love and power struggles. This new moon is certainly about balance and fairness and justice but being ruled by Venus in Scorpio and square Pluto shows that this moon is anything but light. How can be forge on without really looking in the mirror? Seeing the darker parts of truth. We have to face what is holding us back and learn to let go of negative patterns related to love and values. The past becomes the present again only to become the future or the past once more. We revisit what hasn’t settled. What comes to light could be letting go of something we may not of been consciously aware of. Unrest for what isn’t fair. Using that power to force growth and change. The power struggle comes from this unrest and subconscious control of what cannot be controlled. To demonstrate, i’s in my 11th House - long-term goals, group involvements, global awareness. It makes quite a few flowing aspects to my natal planets. What I also know is that the next New Moon will totally skip my 12th House (only 20 degrees) and land practically on my Ascendant. Create the goals now, take personal action then?
