No time to draw today～(^_^;) The other day i was looking at my 2016 hobonichi and put my two avecs together. I just love how chubby and well used it is～♪ some people might prefer a neat and tidy hobonichi but i really think signs of use gives it character～☆ ( *^艸^) hope it inspires someone too！

Hello! I was thinking about purchasing my first Hobonichi and I'm having a lot of trouble deciding between the English Techo Planner and the Cousin. I really like the larger size of the Cousin much better than the compact size, but I also like how everything is in English on the Techo Planner. Any thoughts/recommendations?

Dear Lindsay, do you know where I can get translation of the daily quote for the 2017 hobonichi cousin avec planners? I figure a fan out there that is bilingual would :) Mary

The quotes from the other techos are basically the same as the quotes in the English Hobonichi Techo Planner (they’re pulled from the same pool of articles and stuff), so you’d have to buy the English version book if you want the translations~

Just got back from this amazing event～♪ there are thousands and thousands rolls of masking tape and mini houses covered in washi tape～♡ the one on the bottom right is by my favourite brand 🌠MT💕. Although major brands like MT and Maste are actually a little bit more expensive than other stores at this event, I recommend going to see the entire collection of certain brands！There are rare designs and indie brands from artists in japan, hong kong and taiwan. きゃああああ、マスキングテープ展覧会すごく楽しかった。いっぱいすぎ困ったw いろいろ我慢したw イベントは来月まで。文房具が大好きな皆さん香港で旅行なら是非行ってみようね～♪

Hello! This isn't directly Hobonichi-related, but is there a translation of the haramaki washing instructions somewhere? Because I couldn't find one on the website ...

I don’t actually know where to find the instructions because they probably come with a haramaki when you buy one. I personally just wash it as usual with my other clothes, which I always wash with cold water and dry on low heat so nothing shrinks. That’s worked out just fine--it reverts back to its original size every time you wash it, since several uses will kinda stretch it out like which happens with pants and stuff.

I use my Hobonichi Techo as a sort of Hobonichified Bullet Journal. The monthly logs are built into the Hobonichi's design, but how do people do the future log in a Hobonichi?
