maybe this is a controversial opinion (I have less people to talk to about Toku than I'd like, but also I'm too shy/lazy to seek out more people to talk to, so I don't know for sure), but I feel like the first half of Zeztz might've been better served being 1/3 of the series instead of 1/2.

then we could give all the stuff we've been dealing with in the back half more room to breathe, like letting CODE be a properly paced 1/3, and the current arc we're kicking into gear could be better set up, rather than cramming it into the last 10 or so episodes.

then again maybe I just need to let Zeztz finish, let it sit for a while, and give it a rewatch with slightly fresher eyes. could just be that stuff feels awkwardly paced because I'm watching it week to week.

#im gonna be honest. i dropped zeztz after the first half.#cause the pacinf after was so bad it pissed me off.
