Miniature Calendar
Starting in 2011, Tatsuya Tanaka has been framing scenes of miniature bliss into diorama-esque photographs that have effortlessly captivated his audience for years. Using everyday items easily found around the house or within a grocery store, Tatsuya can create a lush forest just by using broccoli and bits of parsley. Want to recreate a peaceful afternoon on the golf course? Use a grass colored shoe sole and position some figurines on or around the cup.
It’s truly amazing what Tatsuya can do with literally anything he puts his hand on. He serves as a true testament to the creative spirit.

Any good books on architecture that you would recommend?
Not sure what kind of architecture book you are looking for, but here are some that could be considered “basic reading”:
Anything by Francis D.K. ChingÂ
The Architecture of the City Aldo RossiÂ
The Death and Life of Great American Cities Jane JacobsÂ
Learning from Las Vegas: The Forgotten Symbolism of Architectural Form Robert VenturiÂ
The Ten Books on Architecture VitruviusÂ
The Four Books of Architecture Andrea PalladioÂ
A History of Architecture: Settings and Rituals Spiro KostofÂ
Modern Architecture Since 1900Â William J.R. CurtisÂ
101 Things I Learned in Architecture School by Mathew FrederickÂ
Jacob Ring - Austral Bricks
City Layouts Luis Dilger
Topography, architecture and traffic routes give every city a unique structure.
These conditions create the typical and individual inner structure of a city. I didn’t only want to show these structures in the conventional way from above, but also including the exact three-dimensionality of topography and buildings - a real world visualisation. The OpenStreetMap data enabled me to visualize the satellite-based information using DEM Earth in Cinema 4D. The results are some extraordinary views of large capitals and small towns.Â

Colosses Fabrice Fouillet
Statues are often idealized works of art. They are ideological, political or religious representations and attempt to turn their subjects into fascinating, eternal figures. Even when erected to keep alive the memory of a single person, a statue that lasts many generations will eventually establish itself as a symbol for the community.
Statues are even more influential when they are monumental. An edifice can be said to be monumental when it is unusual, extraordinary and physically imposing. It has to be abnormal — as exceptional as the political or religious power itself — and also inseparable from its symbolic aspects.
The series “Colosses” is a study of the landscapes that embrace monumental commemorative statues.
