This will be more of a ramble than my calypso post. I’ll organize it another day with a fic maybe (heavy maybe) but for now these are just my baseline thoughts on Melanie. She’s a lesbian and using she/her. Her and Whitney are close friends, and they both fuck around in school a lot but Mel doesn’t bully as much people. She couldn’t really care less but if she gets annoyed with them she’ll let to be known that their existence is an inconvenience to her. She sees people bullying Kylar and is annoyed because it’s in front of her locker so she tells them to fuck off and unbeknownst to her catches the eye of Kylar. Mel doesn’t really bully Kylar. Sure she finds her somewhat annoying but her skittish attitude was a bit.. cute in Mel’s eyes.

However being friends with Whitney means that whenever you find yourself liking someone you treat them in the worst possible way ever. Mel doesn’t treat Kylar the exact same as Whitney does to Pc, however she still insults her from time to time though it doesn’t really have any bite underneath it.

And… that’s as far as I’ve gotten with their dynamic. A lot of tsundere stuff with Mel (art of that coming whenever I decide I want to render it), and just a lot of her and Whitney both being pathetic gay losers together. fun stuff planned that’s for sure
