Guess what, dickhead? I didn’t have to be in the same room as Louis and Zayn to see Zayn side with Shahid after Shahid publicly made fun of Louis’ voice and talent. To see Zayn call Louis ‘bitchy’ and tell him to stay out of his life. To hear Zayn say that he left to make #RealMusic.

I didn’t have to be in the same room as Louis and Zayn in order to see the way that the OT5 OTRA shows were awkward and pained and the post-Zayn OT4 OTRA shows were a thing of joy and overwhelming lightness.

To see the look on Louis’ face as interview after interview asked about Zayn leaving and he was forced to clench his teeth and act like everything was okay, when just the mention of Zayn’s name made Louis look like he’d just been punched in the stomach.

To see the way that Harry, warm, kind, wouldn’t even talk shit about Taylor Swift when she deserved it Harry, started making really deliberate jokes at Zayn’s expense again and again and again. When he said “the paperwork” was the hardest thing about Zayn leaving. 

To see that Zayn outright said that he didn’t even bother listening to Made In The AM. That he though Perfect was “generic”, that he admitted he hasn’t spoken with Louis, Harry or Niall since he left. That he KEEPS TALKING SHIT ABOUT THEM AND THEIR WORK. 

To see the way that OT4 have closed ranks without Zayn and seem happier without him.
