Daxter with Dreads! My own go at it since I see everyone else doing it!

Well I tried, anyway XD I would need to work more on the semantics of his crazy ass hair :3

And It occured to me while I would drawing that Daxter would probably blow a gasket if his hair ended up looking too much like Torn’s dreads! So I tried revising and just chaos. Again I can never stay consistent with his damned hair.

I have no idea what I’m doing. But it’s good silly practice for drawing Dreads, which is something my original characters are going to have!

Also noteworthy, HANDS. AND GUN. AND THEY DON’T LOOK LIKE BUNK. Gun is probably not canon-worthy shit but oh wells

So a lot of people have MH hybrids and so I figured i’d write a bit on blood types on transfusions in general. 

So first things first, most species blood is incomparable due to antibodies. The Donor’s blood most often contains antigens that the donee’s body considers to be not of itself and so thereby harmful, like a parasite, bacteria, or virus. 

This is why in blood transfusions blood typing is important, In humans blood has type AB, A, B, and O. O contains no antigens and can donate to everyone, A contains A antigens, B has B antigens, And AB has both. O can take only O type blood but has no antigens so can be transfused into anyone, AB can accept anything but has both antigens and can only transfuse into people with AB blood. If not, the body will create antibodies to destroy the blood. 

However the antibodies in the blood type will still try to attack the host, so in most cases the blood is separated prior to transfusion to stop most of the antibodies having a serious reaction.

Rh+ and Rh- are also factors, (Referring to RhD+ and RhD-, while Rh also has D, C, E, c, e, among others and has variation combinations of those being positive or negative most of the time the phenotype expressed is based on the D.) Rh+ having antigens while Rh- doesn’t. This is of note due to pregnancy,  if the mother has Rh- blood, while their child doesn’t, their body will create antigens when their blood slightly mixes, meaning any other fetuses with a difference are more likely to be miscarried. 

Add on top of that animals having distinct animal antigens and you have a problem with xenotransfusion.

These pearls would be unlikely to have a round shape, due to being made above ground,   perhaps having more of an icicle shape. The Nacre might be thicker as it is above water to prevent it from leaving the metalhead’s plating and thus needing more to be created, so metalhead pearls would be made faster and thus even more likely not to have a smooth round shape. It’s possible that these “Pearls” could be expressed through pores in the plating before or after becoming solid, functioning like zits. A complete pearl, let alone an undamaged one would be rare, it would be more common on adjustable plating which wouldn’t have tiny pores in it, but still was between the skin and the elements. 

Day 5 of Jaktober and today’s prompt was metalhead. This went a lot better than yesterday but it still feels unfinished.. but I don’t know what to add.
