The Handmaid of The L0rd

HI, this is Anna here. I’ve been the Handmaid for Borgatabent since November of 2012, and recently been promoted to position of Admin, and given permission to write this post.

Borgatabent will be closing. Apologies to those who have just joined, and those who have sent in applications. But it’s time.

I do not speak for everyone, but I can personally thank any and all of you who have taken an interest in this group. Whether you’re a current or past member of this group, thank you. I apologize for the recent turn of events, and anyone it has upset in the process. But I’ve been here for quite a while, and I think it’s time we lay Borgatabent to rest. And I’m ever-grateful that I am allowed to be the one to do so.

If you’re not willing to read my idiotic sentimental rambling, then short and sweet right here: thank you for your love, time and interest, and I hope you a wonderful rest of days. Thank you for giving this group it’s attentions and giving it the love it’s so rightfully deserved. Thank you Ryn and Percy for sharing your original, wonderful idea with us all, and helping create a community in which I’ve found and kept some of my most treasured friends. I’m deeply sorry that it strayed, and I’m sorry that it has been and was such a point of stress. We will be returning this blog to you to do as you please, whether let it sit as a memory as we intend or do away with it, or reopen it. This isn’t a thing of ours, it’s yours. It was always yours, and that’s how it should stay.

But again, thank you so much for giving us all this opportunity. Myself especially.

And thank you Rooty for keeping this place alive as long as you did. I don’t doubt it was hard, especially near the end. And I’m sorry if it caused you distress. But we appreciate you and appreciate all you’ve done and tried to do, make no mistake of that. There’s no way it could have been easy, and we understand that, despite any and all frustrations. Thank you.
