I had previously posted about a mysterious Templar holding a lit lantern in one of the side-streets beyond St Paul's Cathedral:

Mystery solved: it looks like the Templar is tied to memory "A Spot Of Tea" from Sequence 6. As you tail the cart with the smuggled weapons, and it reaches its destination, if you rush a bit, you can see the Templar with the lantern among other templars that are there waiting for the cargo.

It is the same spot as the one in the first screenshot, and the Templar is in the same position. Apparently him being there even outside the memory marks the secret hideout / meeting place for this specific activity, as obviously Twopenny had already been on it, even before we find out about it. In the first memory of the 3rd sequence, Somewhere That's Green, after Jacob and Evie meet with Henry on the rooftops of Whitechapel, Henry explains to them the situation in London, with the camera panning over the borough. On a wall near by, we can see a big sign that reads "Bierce's Dog Oil".

This is a reference to a story by American author Ambrose Bierce, written during the Victorian era, which is titled "Oil of Dog". It is a macabre short story, full of black humor, where a young man narrates the unfortunate events that led to his parents' insane deaths, for which he was inadvertently responsible.

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, there are several red arrows that can be seen drawn on signs, in seemingly random places around London. I have spotted one in Southwark and another one, drawn on both sides of the sign, inside St Pancras station. I wonder if they are connected and / or actually lead somewhere, and if there's more of them in the boroughs.

***UPDATE: As it turns out, they are somehow connected to the horse races, as signs like these can be seen during the racing games, showing the route of the race. However the one inside the station is still a mystery, as you never pass through there during the games.

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, in the enclosed section of the Royal Exchange at the City of London borough, there is a box identical to the standard music boxes that you find across the boroughs which unlock the treasure at Reuge's Vault. This box however is inactive, as you cannot interact with it, nor it seems to serve any particular purpose.

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate, on a side street just South of St Paul's Cathedral, there is a mysterious Templar standing in the middle of the alley holding a lantern. He can always be seen standing there, whether you are passing by on a mission or during free-roaming, and he can be found with both Jacob and Evie. He looks as if he is waiting for something, ie, give the signal for an ambush, or wait for someone to pass, or as if he is guarding something important; which is weird because there is nothing of particular interest in the surrounding area.
