Disney,in fact,was HEAVILY racist when they "weren't trying" but you guys glossed over it too much to notice. (This is part 1 bc of the picture limit)

Let's start with our first examples!!

Tiana,the first black princess, Disney took 72 years(1937,Snow white to 2009,the princess and the frog) to make it's first ever black princess

And of course, it's terrible too

They made Tiana have a few minutes of screen time as a human,and she spent the rest as a frog

But do you ever see that happening with white princesses?? No, weird, right??

Isn't it weird to you,how the first and only black princess they ever made,gets to be a frog,and animal,that is seen as "disgusting" and "ugly" by most people?

And the first and only black princess, gets to be represented as an,animal??

And not only her, prince naveen,the first and only south asian prince they made

Also gets the same treatment

Moving on to Lottie,the rich, spoiled girl best friend

Isn't it funny,how despite her being spoiled,and being treated in the ways people end up being terrible and selfish,yet she isn't like that?

And oh wait,who ends up saving Tiana?? Oh yes,Lottie! The WHITE spoiled rich girl!!

But no! Despite her growing up in an environment where she'll easily end up being terrible and rotten,she ends up being kind and caring?? And saving her BLACK friend?? In an era where racism towards black Americans was so common?

Don't you find it weird,how the movie doesn't try showing you how racism was so normalized in that era,and instead tries to show you that the white best friend is actually a good person and ends up being the "white savior" instead of showing you how bad white people can be?

Oh now let's start with Pocahontas!

If this doesn't scream racist then what doesn't, it's insane to me how those mfs with the "everything is turning too woke!!!" will look at this and say it's not forced or that it's good representation

Her whole story is racist, trying to support colonization, making her fall in love with her colonizer,not even trying to simply sympathize with how Americans colonized native Americans and killed majority of them from the face of earth

And also, it's not only disrespectful to native Americans, but to the actual Pocahontas, who's this story is based over

Who was originally kidnapped by their colonizers, assaulted and abused,and when she went back to her people,she fell ill and passed away.

This movie in general is disgusting that words can't explain it.

Ah,yes! The asian cat twins,si and ma,from the aristocrats, who's first appearance with the music singing,and all was literally racism at best,and during a song with the other cat characters,one of them was playing piano with CHOPSTICKS and talking about hong kong and fortune cookies

How surprising is that?

Oh wow, being represented as black,and being named after the Jim crow law?

If you don't know what Jim crow law is;

"Jim Crow Laws were statutes and ordinances established between 1874 and 1975 to separate the white and black races in the American South. In theory, it was to create “separate but equal” treatment, but in practice Jim Crow Laws condemned black citizens to inferior treatment and facilities"

Also funny enough,all of the crows are played by black people except for Jim crow himself, who's played by a white guy

The native Americans in Peter pan!

Being referred to with the slur? Really? They didn't even slightly try to hide this one

Their features are exaggerated in the way y'know, they are seen as conventionally unattractive,and singing a whole song about their skin color,oh wow,how not very racist this is, Disney is DEFINITELY doing better rep in this time before they became "too woke"!!!

Kuzko,is kinda hard to judge,but definitely falls into some kind of racism

The poc character gets to be human for only 10 mins of the movie while being an animal for the rest, like usual

Well yes,the rest of the people are also Peruvian and appear as humans,but they didn't appear as much as he did so it doesn't really change anything I guess? But it does make it hard to really deem it as racist

Gyro Gearloose doesn't have a specific ethnicity,tho,I like to think of him as Greek, considering his name,"Gyro",which is also a name of a Greek dish, called "Gyro"(I know this is stupid BUT LET ME BE...)(this is a HEADCANON btw) also don't you dare bring up the fact he's named after the short term "Gyroscope" in engineering and physics😡(I know he's canonically named over that but let me dream alright...)

SO let's say Gyro is Greek(which is false/unconfirmed),then we have Dr.Akita, who's very much clearly Japanese,that aside,we know both of them created B.O.Y.D.,which could leave the possibility of saying B.O.Y.D. is half Japanese and his other half is unknown (considering his "parent" is from there)

Then, let's move on to the information we know from B.O.Y.D.

we clearly know that he's an African Grey Parrot! And those parrots are also known as,the Congo Grey Parrot! (Which they also originate from there too!) So,that could also leave the possibility of B.O.Y.D. being Congolese (or at least, African,but the closet assumption is Congolese)

He was also created in Tokyolk(which obv is Tokyo),Japan,which makes his Nationality Japanese,his Ethnicity African(Congolese) and if we consider his ethnicity to depend on his "parents"(creators) too,then he's a half Japanese ethnically African(Congolese) Nationally Japanese African(Congolese) Grey Parrot!(And if my stupid connection to Gyro being Greek was correct,which will never happen but let's say it's a hc,then he's also half Greek!)

Btw this is NOT counting his adoptive family!!(Drake family,which most likely are American)
