It's spring
Yet I feel shivers of this cold
That has already passed .
Goosebumps surrounding my body
My heart has gone cold,
And now my body too.

When you finally die
When you die, you will die with your books unread
Bookmarks, annotations and regrets
By you, by the people in your life undead
Treasured by some blinded frets.
When you die, there won't be any made up beds,
Comfort will be found in shattered wrecks,
Love will emerge from the ones that once fled,
Lavender sorrows turn cherry red,
When you die monsoon will be a havoc threat,
Flooded streets, open gates ahead,
Liquids of sadness invading breath,
Barren bodies just drowning instead,
When you die, there will be peace
Relatives and funeral speeches indeed,
Reciting to have their faith resurrect,
Why be afraid of impending death.
Trains
Trains full of powerless sight
arrive at the station.
Silent tales brushing shoulders
in an overfilled compartment,
Perfumed in hard metal.
You in your meekness scuttle your way in,
Hoping to muster some patience,
But patience is running like a child
On the ground en route your destination.
Solitude
I found a friend in solitude
That I had, for a while, forgotten.
He took my hand in the darkness
And pointed towards the dawn,
Never once making reference
to how long the night would last.
He held silent,
Calmly, Wisely,
And with great promise,
Of nothing in particular.
He lay no foundation for expectation;
Only faith that whatever may be
Is okay.
In search of
I try hard for this pain to come to an end,
For nothing but misery has come of my wonders,
In search of reliable and trustworthy friend,
I could only catch glimpse of few strangers,
I would extend my arms for an embrace,
To only end up seeing their true faces
And realise I fell prey to their affection.
By coveting such love in a wander,
I realise that I have become nothing but a great fool,
I could only get this from my mother,
Is this universe's changeless rule?
Alas, I looked for it everywhere
Searching affection in the eyes of strangers,
My wanders have gone on for too long,
This journey must be limited only for the strong.

Sky gazing
It was pink, purple and blue,
All the pastels in transcendent hue.
The sky does love to swoon,
Why is the day leaving so soon.
For a crescendo and a dance,
Maybe starlight will take a chance.
Though who will shine more, day or night?
Life is bright when the timing is right.
Land of torn moon
Where the moon used to rise
Now flesh eater vultures fly,
Wingless dream has laid down
On the endless dry field
with uncomfortable cracks.
Wounds stoped bleeding.
They only asks for new sky
when the night comes down at our rooftop silently.
Memories whisper in the dark,
Like half dead clouds they roam around in the sky of life,
Once my father warned me
"Don't you go there,
vultures have no cast or religion."
Morning light
No one wants to play with pain
Not even a warrior,
Yet the battle is on
Between solitude and existence.
A ray of morning light entered the room
through the eastern window
I sat gazing aimlessly,
Perhaps I have been sleeping for days
As if I never woke up truly,
As if I have never seen myself deeply,
The ocean within this self,
The rainbow in the imaginary sky,
Gradually a golden piece of light
spread throughout the room,
Where I had forgotten to live
for a long time with my dream.
Raindrops
A raindrop,
Fell on my lips
Trailing down;
Tasting salty,
and sweet
A raindrop
kissed me
multiple times
And I stood there
wishing
That the sky
Never shut
its eyes.
While we have life
While we have life
and moments to feel the sun
and wind on our face,
We also have time to find
some meaning in being human.
Time to know
the beauty in life
is in all the tiny moments,
Like when we're listening to rain
Fall gently on the window
as the wind sighs
through nearby trees,
while clouds slowly stream
across the sky,
and there is only cry of birds
In soft early , morning light.
Moments when wind and sky
Weave through our being,
and our heart knows
their is endless space and freedom,
helping us know
the inexpressible,
the silent conscious space
across the universe
that dissolves us into itself,
So the poetry of silence
become the unheard music
Of spacious human heart.
And as we allow
the universe inside us
to see something of its own
Delicate beauty reflected in the world
we find their is a meaning
in human being.
While we have life.

Passing a day in the rhythm of rain
Rain inches down my window, dark clouds gather in the sky. I leave to catch it before it’s gone.
Along the beach it comes down harder and I’m soaked all the way through. I look into the sky. Nobody’s here.
The flowers are brighter, the earth is alive. I pass a man and his son and we wave. We’re all smiling big, believing we’re in on some secret. We laugh. This is kind of ridiculous.
The dad is here, but I see two kids.
I see life emanating from their chests.
I walk along the train tracks dancing to the rhythm of my heart, the rhythm of the rain; I feel like running.
A deep inhale brings me in. Life doesn’t make sense sometimes; it feels like I have to catch the passing rain. The day becomes an adventure. It’s all part of the dance, nothing matters, life is beautiful.
I pass another man.
He, too, smiles extra large.
“You weren’t out in the rain! I was,” he says. I wonder who he’s looking at because I’m soaked.
“I was! I am!”
“It’s just a little rain,” he says and walks away.
The intoxicating smell of firewood and flowers drift through the air. The rain’s the key. The earth opens.
Your Name
Your name is on the tip of my tongue,
With all the sweetness of cherries,
And all the bitterness of a grapefruit.
The perfect balance of flavours,
Like bittersweet chocolate,
I never want the taste to leave my mouth.
Flip a coin
Melencholia and madness are two sides of the same coin,
I toss it into the air and it lands on the ground,
Revealing my fate,
But I flip the coin again;
I want this freedom to last for just a moment longer,
And as it dance through the air,
I breathe in untill it collides with the ground again,
This time with an even louder thud,
Melencholia and madness mixing together as one.
Morning has arrived,
We stand at a place, where the railway tracks extend towards the horizon,
And try to measure how far we've been walking,
The wind starts to blow strongly,
It's a signal to move on from here,
There is no need to hesitate anymore.
What lies at the end of the world, we don't know,
We also don't have a way to live within sadness,
What we can aim from now on is the courage to keep going.
This is how we would be able to see through the end of our dreams,
Various greetings keeps being repeated
Smiles showing straightened white teeth are all the same,
This bag of mine is still empty,
But that's because I have nothing precious to bring along,
When both my knees have touched the ground below,
The wind stirs up once again,
And pushes me to keep moving,
The colour of the sky changes completely,
as the day begins end,
And new stars starts to rise up the sky,
We may fall asleep,
Tired, disappointed and disheartened by what this day brought to us,
But once we wake up,
Let's start walking again,
I believe that somehow, today we will cross over the bridge, which was a hurdle yesterday,
As our wings won't burn down
And we rise up to fly again, tomorrow.
Why should they even care ?
People talking to you
People talking over you
People turn their backs on you
People rushing past you
People bumping against you
People shoving into you
Nobody cares,
Why should they even care?
Empty faces everywhere
Blank expression and only stares
People forget how to share
Everything is so strange
No personal exchange
Nothing ever seems to change
Does anybody care?
Do you care?

Lost and found
If lost was a place
and heaven was found
Would you be willing
to be paradise bound?
With blind expectations
We continue to search
Truth, always evasive
Leaving us in the lurch.
Words hidden in hours
Phrases lost in days
As life pushes forward
Time dissolves in haze.
With so many questions
And few answers maybe
We just wait and see.
Wasted youth
When you find me too close to waters that don't mean me well,
Don't try to make me fall for hope ,
a lie I buy each time you sell,
And when you find me glassy eyed
Know that I won't be consoled.
I yearn not for things but for a time ,
For all my years that got stole.
And when you find me horrified,
Know we all grow old
I yearn not for love but for a foe, the lost time
I yearn for what I can't control.
