     ⊰ | ♛ | ⊱ —  Of all the people that Pat could have run into that day, Mila was the last one that he ever would have expected. His last interaction with her hadn’t gone so well. She’d literally ran away from him and he hadn’t been able to figure out why. Concern had built up over time for the other, but he’d had no way to get in contact with her to check up on her. 

Having spotted her when they’d ended up near each other, he was glad she didn’t take off again. If she had, he most certainly wouldn’t have known what to make of it. But then, he also wasn’t sure what to make of the gaze being leveled at him now. It wasn’t like he hadn’t been glared at before, but this seemed different. Especially given he still had no idea what she was upset about. Studying her, he debated what the best way to go about speaking to her would be. A simple hello probably wouldn’t suffice this time around. He noted the hands gripping her bag so tightly. 

His eyes widened when she spoke, the words taking him entirely off guard. He raised his hands in a gesture of surrender. The tone of her voice was unsettling. ❝  Leave you alone  ?  I was on my way home, I didn’t mean to… to bother you  ?  ❞  He was at a loss about what he should say to her. What had he done to her  ?  Whatever it was, it was uninten– His thoughts were cut off abruptly. He felt his face twist in surprise and confusion, his eyebrows knitting, his lips twitching into a frown. ❝  I– what  ?  No. No, no, no. I’m studying to become a doctor. So I can help people, not hurt them. I would never hurt you, Mila.  ❞  He was stuck on the again, too, but one thing at a time would probably be the best thing for this conversation. 

     She wanted to believe his words, but they contradicted the trauma that she endured for most of her life. The vivid images haunt her when small triggers appear, and Pat even being here and mentioning doctors actually being human was enough to send her into a mental spiral. It took her a while to bounce back from his last encounter with him, but she felt like she was back to square one again. 

     Mila took in his words. Her mouth was open to retort something back to him, but nothing came out. She just stared at him. He looked harmless with a look of concern. Nothing like what she saw back at the facility. Those few times she spent with him and talked about mundane topics. It made no sense now. Nobody aspiring to such a status should have ever been that kind to her. She wanted to run away again, but her legs wouldn’t move. The sound of her increased heart beating rang louder in her ears. Her breath was getting caught in her throat. She reduced to that of a cornered animal, not knowing what to do. From the mundane noises of the afternoon to the overthinking her brain was doing to justify how someone like Pat could be different from them, the ravenette was getting overstimulated. She struggled to get something out, anything, but just....crashed. 

Mila dropped to her knees right where she was and clutched at the roots of her hair, curled up over herself. Nothing was making sense in her head anymore and it didn’t take long for her eyes to water up as she tried to catch her breath. 

        Maybe he was being too harsh? No, ignorance was no excuse for such grave mistakes. Well, the person who he should truly be blaming is on behind the summoning spell. What should one do in these situations? His best friend would have suggested focusing on the positive aspect. His so-called master didn’t seem to have any intent of using the contract that should count as something positive. He had no intention of becoming someone’s personal servant.

Ronald lived for so long that he of often forget that others don’t possess the same basic knowledge he has. “It is understandable. I shouldn’t expect someone as young as you to fully understand demons that would be unfair.” Despite his rather comforting words, there was underline bitterness behind it.

“Each demonic contract is different depending on the demon and their contractor. This one is an open one. An open contract means the conditions hasn’t been set yet. Usually a summoner knows what they summoned a demon for.” This was highly unorthodox situation. There weren’t many cases of someone accidently summoning a demon.

“There might be a way to get out of this unfortunate situation, but I would need more time to research it. One mistake might end with of one us dead or worse. Demonic contract are all about paying price. It would be best to remember that when dealing with demons in future.” She was fortunate that he wasn’t really menacing type of demon.  A regular demon would have tricked her already.

A layer of frost started forming on varies objects inside the room. The room temperature continued to drop and Ronald who indifferent to the cold was obvious to it as he continued explaining the situation.  

“ In worsest case scenerio… we could seal the contact with something harmless.” He didn’t want his first sealed contract to be a bloody joke, but if he couldn’t negate the contract, it might become be his only option.

SPEED: Haaaa honestly who knows. I try to get back to people within a few weeks since I tend to disappear a lot. But im typically really fast if i happen to be online for a couple days in a row.

REPLIES: I prefer para and multi para stuff, but im cool with one liners too. I usually try to respond to the same length as my partner. 

STARTERS: I toss em out here and there. I usually don’t plot I’ll just wing it.  

INBOX: I love invading people’s inboxes with whatever my muse feels like doing. It’s fun and even spawns some interesting threads if they keep on going. I also really like ask memes but haven’t been doing those much lately. 

SELECTIVITY: I’m pretty selective. I basically decide on who I want to interact with based on if they have a bio, rules and how their blog is organized. But that’s mostly about it really.  

WISHLIST: Hmmm let’s see...

Generally speaking, putting any one of my muses in a place where it brings out a side of them that’s never really been seen before, even by them. This can be for better or worse so ahahha

nothing else comes to mind at the moment which sucks because my wishlist is large
