My theory for TADC is that C & A stands for Caine and Adam, not Caine and Abel.

With Kinger's real name being Adam.

And Kinger creating Caine.

Kinger being Caine's father in a sense.

And Kinger being a father figure to everyone in the circus except for Caine...would probably really suck for Caine to watch. It would probably make Caine hate Kinger...
