In LA sat? Stop by my friend Christian's store and coffee shop for inspired coffee, fashion, & artists gathering (at Cafe Americano on Melrose)

Started my Lyftcapades today at H the new coffee house in Los Feliz with a super friendly, upbeat crew, passionate about their coffee & tea; delectable home-made pastries made right there by Mandy, pastry-chef extraordinaire; hopping tunes, great lighting and indoor and outdoor options make this place a neighborhood gem. Plenty of street parking, handicap parking and two lucky spots (I happened to get one of the spots this morn). I got the African cold brew with intense citrus notes & a lemon pistachio bscone. Yes I spelled that right - bscone. Picked up a Lyft virgin who happened to be getting her morning coffee right there as well and away we went! Love Lyft synchronicities! Welcome to Lyft Anna!

Friday afternoon fix - Susie Cakes! After dropping a lovely Lyftie off at the Hammer Museum, I had to make a detour to the best cupcake place in all of LA - SusieCakes! In Brentwood and now Marina Del Rey, stop in this weekend for the last of the seasonal flavor special "blueberry pancake". With gobs of fresh blueberries and maple syrup frosting, you can't go wrong. Will be sad to see it go, but you can always count on delectable, delicious seasonal specials, so I'm sure the next one will be just as good. And check out LA's free Hammer Museum's "made in LA" exhibit featuring LA artists that are innovative and under-recognized.

Happy Friday! Starting my lyftcapades off right with a Big Green Monster smoothie - avacado, parsley, kale, berries, cinnamon, touch of VT maple syrup, & Kippy's coconut cream (made at Kippy's in Venice). In the afternoons Miro is there and will regale you with stories from Italy and South Africa while brewing you a mean cappuccino. So far today it's been a lovely day of repeats! I love getting people I've given Lyfts to in the past back in my car because a)it means they're happy with Lyft b)it brings the Lyft community feel home c)makes this sprawling city of LA feel more connected.
