High on wheels

With everything I own sold or given away, I leave behind my once-upon-a-time, beloved Pittsburgh. With no plans for return, to any previous place I have called home, I venture into uncertainty, adrift amongst the endless roads of the world, for today, freedom starts with one petal after another.

I'm with in 30 miles from the city of New Orleans and true to her fashion, after not getting a flat for over 1,000 miles, I have to fix one right after I enter Orleans parish.

So for the last two days, I pushed for triple digit miles so I could make it home by my birthday. I have to push yet another 100+ to finish

No really, I’m fucking hurting and really wish I did have robotic legs. Only 40some old miles to go before I hit my least favorite city in the world… Jackson.

So only once in 2,500 miles and 13 states, did I start a camp fire. Bicycle only campground in Alabama.
