These sketches are just garbage. But I'm trying to keep making myself practice drawing, and keep writing. It's just really hard, my depression has gotten worse every day since 2016.

Coworker: really? What's he do?

Me:...............uhm. He studies plants? He travels around the world, and studies plants. He's discovered a couple of new ferns. And he's also discovered a few new species of bugs, which is cool too.

Coworker: he studies plants?!!!! *annoyance in their tone as if I said something stupid *

Me: yes. That is exactly what botanist do.

Coworker: uhm I don't think you know what botany means.

Me: I think you should check with your instructor and see if that botany class is a good fit for you. *walks away confused*

Trying to do 1 creative thing a day for 30 days... Again.

on reddit I saw a picture of Hermione as a black girl, and I didn’t understand the problem (since, ya know, i am pretty sure Hermione was black in the books, due to several descriptions). 

I also thought Lavender Brown was, idk why

and they cast Lavender as 2 different black actresses at first, and I never knew she was recast as a white girl?  

but either way, I still think of Hermione as black, and I never liked the movies *shrug* 

so in my headcanon Hermione and Lavender are both black. 

edit: i dont even like JKR, but she kind of said that Hermione was supposed to be black in the books?

That's not true?

Because, as someone who is seriously depressed, and always wants to kill myself, they never gave a single fuck about it?

They didn't care if I felt like killing myself

Or if the other guy felt like killing himself.

It's so offensive to me, because someone these people I was 'friends' with, and I helped them through some really bad things they were going through, while they were struggling.

But the only time I tried to talk to them about what was wrong with me they literally said 'sorry I have to go, I'll talk to you tomorrow'

If you don't actually care about people and what they're going through,

Please don't say that you do, because if people can't ACTUALLY just message you because they feel like shit mentally and just talk about it?

Then don't say they should.

It's really important to actually take the time to talk to people who are depressed and dealing with mental health problems

Just asking someone 'are you okay?' can help.

Just talking to someone can help.
