High In Styles

I had the privilege of chatting with @highinstyles. Highinstyles is a family owned business based out of california. They sell a surplus of different beauty products from eyeshadow to eyelash brushes. I love and fully support small business so it was my pleasure to catch up and interview highinstyles.

Me ; “Tell me a little a bit about your business? “

 HIS ; “We are a family based online business and so far it is just my husband and I. Our business has just started in July of 2020. So far we only have a couple of products which include 3D Faux Mink Eyelashes, Eyeshadow Make Up palettes, Eyelash Brushes and Make Up Brushes. We are looking to expand in beauty products, costmetics clothing, jewelry and much more. Right now we are located in California but we ship our products to all 50 states and worldwide. We are 24 and 30 years old.”

Me ; “What was your inspiration for starting your own business?”

 HIS ; “Our inspiration for starting our business was to sell retail items at an affordable price because cosmetics are over priced. The covid pandemic has caused a lot of financial difficulties so we are looking for our prices to be extremely affordable. Starting a business has always been a dream for us so this was the perfect time to start.”

Me ; “What is something you wish you knew before starting your own business?”

 HIS ; “Before starting our business, we wish we would’ve known how difficult it was to attract costumers. I also wish I would’ve know it was to gain supporters because when you’re just starting out, you don’t have any supporters. Supporters are a key factor to having a business. “

Me ; “What is a favorite product  of yours and why?”

HIS ; “We love all of our products equally because we take the time to make sure every product we have is something that costumers would enjoy. “

Me ; “What is one of your favorite beauty trends and why?”

HIS ; “Our favorite beauty trends are eyelashes because they come in different styles and different lengths. We just love that eyelashes aren’t basic anymore. Right now we only have ayelashes that require eyelash glue but we are looking to start selling magnetic Lashes.”

Me ; “What is one of the worst beauty trends and why?”

HIS ; “We do not think badly of any beauty trends just because everyone is different and unique in their own way. We will try to make everyone happy and keep our product at an affordable price.”

Me ; “What is a short term goal for your business?”

HIS ; “A short term goal is to sell out all of the inventory to make room for new product. “

Me ; “What is a long term goal for your business?”

HIS ; “A long term goal is to open up multiple stores all over the world. “
