High Fog is a ren’py-created, completely free visual novel (currently: 30 min, 1 route, no choices) about friendship, ghosts, and spooky legends. I hope you enjoy it!

Here’s the concept/character model sheet for our main dude, Cypress Rodilla (it’s a, uh, nature pun!). He’s a fun lovin’ bro who likes mainly things that aren’t scary swamps. I can’t believe cruel fate has done this.

Hi friends! Long time no blog! 

High Fog is a short visual novel about ghosts and scary things... but the project itself is not dead! I went on hiatus from working on it while drawing my new webcomic (now not so new!) and while trying to work out a few kinks in the story, but now we are back!

Finishing a game is, uh, a lot of work as it turns out?? For many a millennia the elder gods of game design guarded this secret closely. So with this in mind, the very first release of the game will be the default route only (with other routes to be added later). This route by itself is one more or less “complete” story... but it will feel a lot better later with more routes appended onto it, trust me!
