Welcome To The Lodge!

(( Hmmm.... I really like your vibe there, so I’ll add two more headcanons just for you~ ))

Mafiatale Sans: Should you succeed in lifting him, you will absolutely catch the skeleton off guard. He’ll just kind of lay in your arms for a moment, looking at you in surprise... before absolutely lighting up. He’ll wrap his arms around your neck and make some half flirt/half joke about you carrying him away into the sunset. Anytime you pick him up after that will bring out the most genuine laugh and some serious quality time between the two of you. Probably the best method of getting him away from his work and onto the couch to cuddle.

The mun looks up, surprised to see a new face. She jolts to attention, smiling warmly as she leads you into the lodge, chatting away happily.

“ Oh my goodness, hi! It’s been a little bit since we’ve had a new guest, welcome hun! “

She listens intently to your request, before nodding excitedly.

“ Aww, you’re actually the first one to come see him, he’s gonna be so touched! Come on, he’s over here. “

Weaving through the crowd as if it were a casual stroll in the park, she flags down Peter, who had found one of the other guests cat and were freaking out over how big they were.

He looks up at you with a smile, quickly getting to his feet and heading over to you... accidentally stepping on the tail of the cat, who yowls and scurries back off through the crowd, tripping peter. He laughs nervously, shooting you a slightly bashful smile.

“ I um, I hope the cat’s okay. “

He lays his forehead on the floor for a moment, murmuring to himself.

“ God, you do this every time Peter... “

(( I decided the golden trio of papyrus’s, since the rest of the papyrus’s would be some mix of the three. Plus the paps don’t get enough love here ^^ ))

Undertale Papyrus: A very classic, textbook date mate. He’s read every dating manual he can get his hands on, and follows every rule to a T in order to be the best significant other he can be! This comes at a wide range of effectiveness, however, depending on how good the books he’s gathered are. Once you two work out the kinks though, he is a very sweet and attentive partner. His love language is words of affirmation, and he will proudly drown his s/o with compliments and classic, cheesy pet names until they’re absolutely crimson.

Underswap Papyrus: His love language is physical touch, so prepare for him to nearly constantly be holding their hand, laying over them, hugging them, giving them skele-kisses, just doing whatever he can at whatever point to be close and let them know he loves them. A very lazy, loving guy, who can pull a complete 180 and surprise them with thoughtful, grand gestures on special days/events. Only special times though, to keep them on their toes. Only picks one pet name, and it becomes a meaningful nickname for the two of them.

Undertale Sans: Absolutely would, if he knew the human well enough for them to pass the affectionately named Judgement Zone. Will fall asleep in .02 seconds, however.

Underswap Sans: He won’t exactly stop you, but it’s the equivalent to holding a six year old child who just discovered what energy drinks were. Only for the brave.

Underfell Sans: A select group can pick him up, but he needs to trust you first. Surprisingly the clingiest, so if you’re in that group and pick him up prepare to do basically nothing else for the rest of the day.

Swapfell Sans: Anyone can, but he will have you carry him place to place like a spoiled prince doing his duties on a palanquin until he is done being held. Proceed with caution.

Horrortale Sans: Only Papyrus and extremely close individuals have permission to hold him, but once you unlock the special title he’s actually surprisingly warm and comfy to hold. Just mind the sharp parts of the hole in his skull and you’re golden.

Outertale Sans: In a similar situation to Berry, Outer won’t stop you, but he falls asleep easily, and once he falls asleep he tends to float off through the air like a helium balloon. Be very aware of that, he has woken up several feet in the air before and it was not a pleasant awakening.

Basically every single Sans (even the Fell verse ones), in unison:

Horror looks surprised when you carefully place the plate of pancakes in front of him, adding a beautifully woven circlet of flowers to his skull. He glances between you and the gifts for a moment, before a deep orange color sweeps into his face. It takes a moment for him to compose himself, the tallest and most intimidating of the skeletons also being one of the shyest. After all, giving someone food is one of the highest compliments in Horror’s world.

“ ah, u-um, thank you, h-human. y-your gift is very thoughtful. b-but! “

He slides over a bit, making enough room beside him for you to come and join him. As he moves, the flower crown shifts a bit, laying over his skull in a lopsided, pitched manner. Somehow, it fits him better that way, making him look more clumsy and adorable than ever before.

“ i-i wouldn’t be able to eat all of this m-myself. s-so...! The great Papyrus d-demands that you come enjoy th-this food with me! “

Talking to Bendy is a strange experience. You can feel him listening, almost see his eyes watching your every move intently. And even still, his reaction time seems slower than it should be, like he is taking all the time he needs to move and animate. His inky skin ripples like a stone was dropped into it as he turns to the shambling beings. Harmless, but only when confined to the walls of this lodge. Technically, they all were.

“ I wouldn’t mind them. They aren’t much more than ghosts, here. Remnants of something that once was, but no longer is. “

The ink that coated his eyes gathers with the tilt of his head, dripping off. It disappears when it makes contact with the floor, and just for a moment, you can see his eyes. Similar in design to the cutesy cartoon eyes of his intended form, but caved in half-way, making them look sinister. As quickly as you saw them, they’re hidden once again by the ever shifting ink of his form. Surprisingly, he returns your question with one of his own.

Outer!Sans’ eyes light up at that, the little star shapes of his pupils returning as he slowly sways with you. He gently squeezes your hand as he muses.

“ stars, that’s a perfectly fitting name for such a bright human. “

He seems to think for a moment, a gentle lull in his movements as a small, nostalgic smile spreads over his face.

“ did you know rainbows can be seen from space? “ his expression turned playful, nudging your side a little as he adds. “ now i have more things that will remind me of you, back home. “

For a moment, you can clearly imagine the view he’s talking about, as if you were standing in his world with him, looking out at the almost infinite cosmos.

(( Hey hun! You didn’t specify which Sans’ you wanted covered, so I hope you don’t mind if I picked at random. ^^’ ))

Undertale Sans- It would startle him at first, the aggression reminding him of... less fortunate timelines than this. A little explanation on the s/o’s part might be needed here, and once he understood the situation he’d break out the science nerd in him and do as much research as he could. After a little trial and error, he’d find little ways he could help their anxiety, whether it’s by holding the s/o to ground them, guiding them through a breathing exercise, or simply letting them stay home when possible. Very supportive and very concerned for your well being.

Underfell Sans- In total honestly, he’d be kind of a jerk about it of course. Try to bear with him though, and in the tough world of Underfell being told to get over it was just all he knew, especially when it came to his own anxiety. As soon as he sees you cry however, oh stars, he’ll be singing a different tune for sure. Red would practically be begging for you to forgive him as he hurried you back home, laying in your arms and acting as your own personal weighted blanket as you both have an honest heart to heart about what you both could do to lower your anxiety on the day-to-day.

Underswap Sans- The absolutely best in terms of figuring out what’s happening and working to fix it. With Swap!Pap dealing with both depression and anxiety, Berry is no stranger to the signs. He’d take you somewhere more quiet, and less crowded, quietly chiding you for not telling him about this earlier before explaining how to ground yourself, holding you in his arms as he gently helps you calm down, however much you can.

Fell!Sans laughs softly, his eye lights trailing over your features with the smallest, fondest smile over his face. Something about his hard-edged exterior seems to soften around you, and it’s almost like a completely new look for him.

“ well, before the lodge, my voice was usually paired with some kind of aggressive one-liner or dark joke, so ah, people usually didn’t comment on it all that much. if they did they were just trying to shmooze. “

He shrugs, a coy smirk slowly spreading over his face, remembering back on old times. They seemed a little dimmer now, compared to the present. He shrugged, continuing to play with your hair. It was fascinating to him, but he’d never admit it out loud.

“ never worked, though. i can usually see through people pretty quick, and i hate shmoozing. “

He looks back down at you, realizing he’d gotten distracted.

The Sans’ all share a devious smirk at that question, glancing at one another. They pull you into the circle, talking in low, hushed tones. Their smiles are bright as they all give you the scoop.

Undertale Sans: “ one time pap stepped on a snail, and he cried for the rest of the day. he was totally heartbroken, I had to do three of his puzzles with him to get him to calm back down. and the real kicker? “ he laughs softly. “ it wasn’t even a snail he stepped on. it was just a monster candy. “

Underfell Sans: “ you never heard this from me, but he secretly likes to sing to doomfanger. i keep catching him mid song when i pop in from my shortcuts, and every single time he’s holding that damn cat. “ sans shrugs. “ he’s actually not half bad, either. “

Underswap Sans: “ ONCE WHILE MY FOOLISH BROTHER WAS ASLEEP, HIS HONEY BOTTLE OPENED IN HIS POCKET! HE WAS STUCK TO THE COUCH ALL DAY, UNTIL I RETURNED HOME FROM PATROL AND VALIANTLY FREED HIM!! ... HE JUST SLEPT THE WHOLE TIME, EVEN WHEN HE WAS FREE! “

Outertale Sans: “ once, while tuning one of his puzzles, he accidentally set off the trap part of it, and spent the next couple hours cleaning purple paint off of his battle body. “

Undertale Sans: “ i already have a pet. some of you already met him, even if ya don’t remember it. little pet rock, nice lil collection of sprinkles for him to eat. since we got up here he even got a nice outside place, absolutely loves it.

Undertale Paps- “ AND I PRACTICALLY HAVE A PET AS WELL, WITH HOW MUCH I TEND TO SANS’ ROCK. NOT ONLY THAT, BUT IN SOME WAYS THAT INFERNAL DOG HAS GROWN QUITE AN ATTACHMENT TO ME. I DON’T KNOW IF ID CALL HIM A PET, BUT HE DOES SEEM TO CRAVE THE UNDIVIDED ATTENTION OF THE GREAT PAPYRUS~! “

Underfell Sans- “ hm... a pet. maybe, but it’s have to be something real low mantience. and something that can hold its own in a fight. wouldn’t hurt if it was big too. “ he thinks, before shrugging. “ like a bear or somethin. “

Underfell Paps- “ I HAVE ALREADY PROCURED A PET. A DEVIOUS, CONNIVING FELINE, WHOM IVE DUBBED ‘DOOMFANGER.‘ “ he smirks, proud of his naming genius. “ HE IS BY FAR THE MOST SUITIBLE BATTLE COMPANION FOR SOMEONE AS FEARSOME AND TRECHEROUS AS MYSELF! “

Underswap Sans- “ I ALSO HAVE PREPARED MYSELF A LOYAL PET TO STAY BY MY SIDE! I HAVE TAMED THAT INFERNAL PUP THAT CONTINOUS STEALS MY ATTACKS! NOW HE FETCHES THEM FOR ME, SO THAT ILL NEVER HAVE TO RUN OUT MID-DUEL! HE ALSO ENJOYS CHIN SCRATCHES, AND CURLING UP BY MY FEET AT NIGHT! “

The Mun smiles at you, gently pulling you into the cuddle pile quickly amassing on the couch. You lay back, laying your head on OuterTale Sans’ fluffy coat as we all settle down together.

“ I understand that hun, but know you don’t have to just ask me question. The other characters are still open to talk to and all, but the stories will just be on pause. “ she sighs, pushing her hair back. “ which means that you can still have fun here, but the secrets of this lodge will have to remain secret for a little while longer. “

The air in the lodge shifts for just a moment, and it feels as if the world stills. The Mun moves fluidly despite the change, giving you a little wink. Behind her, something flashes.

But in the blink of an eye things return to normal, the Mun shrugging softly as she continues. “ But to answer your question, I actually do have pets, two cats and a dog. “ her smile grows slightly as she muses. “ The dog is a curly haired little ball of anxiety, one of the cats is a sleek, affectionate little thing, and the other is a chonky gal who keeps to herself. “

Her laugh rings out for a moment, before she looks to you.

I just wanted to let you guys know I’m not ignoring any of your asks. With situations at the moment I just haven’t had a lot of energy to go towards the main storylines we have going. I’m just as bummed about it as you all probably are, given some of you were so close to some cool story beats for the lodge I’d be working on. Thankfully, they will not be deleted. Just... set aside for right now. But, that being said, my most recent ask really inspired me to get back to posting here at least somewhat regularly, especially with all of those going through trying times like I am. This is a place of comfort, and I really want it to keep being as such.

So, that being said, I would like to announce that for a while, I’ll will be mostly accepting questions, fluff, and any fun, light-hearted asks or submissions. You can come and talk to me, the other muns, any other user or characters, but it will all be very light on story and just for fun and nonsense. Everything will be under the tag ‘ Fluff-a-thon ‘ in case you want to block or blacklist it.

The Mun lifts her head, a small spark of surprise in her eyes. Exhaustion pulls slowly at her smile, and she laughs softly.

“ I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. I... I don’t have enough time, or energy really with finals coming up to keep the main storylines going. I promise I’ll get back to them when I have a chance, but for the moment, with everything going on, I think this place will be exactly what I made it to be. A little safe place for us all to forget the bad in the world, myself included. “

The Mun heads over to the couch, pulling some blankets together as the characters gather, sitting around the couch and piling onto it to make a collective cuddle pile. The Mun holds a hand out to you, smiling.
