Canada:

Canada is the type to see good in everyone. So, after that he gets over the initial awkwardness of their arranged marriage, he’ll start to notice their qualities.

And like...pretty much everyone, he finds dorkiness absolutely adorable. Every time they show even a bit of this side of them, his heart skips a bit. It’s just so...cute!

They will become friends quickly. Canada is very easygoing, and once the awkward phase is over, he’ll be more comfortable talking to them and might even joke around, sometimes.

And the feelings comes as quickly as the friendship. He’ll start by noticing their cute dorkiness, and then how contagious their laugh is, and then how kind and sweet they are...

It’s like every day, he discovers a new side of them, and he ends up loving all of them. 

He’ll feel very lucky for marrying a person that is so cute, sweet and fun to be with~

Canada will find himself talking less and listening more to them as time passes...he just wants to hear everything they say...

Then, he realizes it: He’s in love with them.

And the need to confess comes. He’s going to spend ages carefully preparing himself, planning the perfect, most romantic way to confess his feelings...

...only to give up right when he was about to actually tell them about it.

“Um...S/o, I have something to tell you” “What is it?” “I-I’m...um...oh, w-would you at the time! I have to work now! Bye!”

^ This is going to happen every time he thinks about confessing to them. 

Japan:

Knowing that he has managed to escape from the marriage, Japan will be very content.

He’s going to try his best to avoid going out so he won’t meet the person that he was going to marry, as he is a bit uneasy about what they might think of him for avoiding the marriage.

So when they come up to him and say thanks, he’s very confused, but also pleasantly surprised.

He’ll smile politely “Is that so?” He’ll ask “You’re welcome, then”

Japan will find it nice that they share views on this topic, so he’ll feel a little more at ease with them.

Seeing that this person he was going to marry is nicer than he expected, Japan will be a bit curious about them. 

Knowing Japan, he’ll probably ask them questions about their country, and even visit it. This is probably how they’re going to bond and become closer.

The two of them will have a great time visiting each other’s homelands and talking about their cultures. He’ll gladly give them a tour around the main Japanese cities, if they’d like. He’s going to take them to best places!

And, of course, he’ll gladly accept a tour around their country’s main cities too. He’s very interested in other cultures, so he’ll be happy with the opportunity to learn more.

Anyway, they’re going to get along well, the friendship will come easily. Japan might be a very private person, but as I said, he’s going to feel more at ease around them since they share opinions.

Expect him to take them out for tea frequently to chat about life and the other countries.

Norway and Iceland:

Both of them would be very happy to have a new family member! Both Nor and Icey might take a while to warm up to them, as they’re pretty shy people, but they would easily get used to their presence.

Norway would probably want for the three of them to live together, or at least meet up very often. Either way, he has a lot of family bonding plans, and no one is going to stop him.

Ice will be very excited over the fact that he isn’t the little brother anymore, especially because he now has an argument to use when Norway pesters him to call him “big brother”

“Call me big brother, Ice” “Why don’t you ask [Name]? They’re younger than me?”

Norway will be the first to get protective over his new sibling. He’s the eldest, he can’t help it! He just wants to protect his family.

Ice will act normally around them. He hates when Norway is overprotective of him, so he will try to treat his younger sibling differently.

...that doesn’t mean that he won’t turn protective at some point, though.

Give it two months, and I can assure you that he’s going to become fiercely protective of his little sibling. Once they’re closer, he’ll just start to get this Protective Big Brother Instincts, and will easily give in to them.

He won’t ask them to call him “big brother” though, he still thinks that’s stupid.

You bet that the new sibling is going to spend a lot of time around the other nordics. They’re a part of the family now, after all!

They’re absolutely going to take part in every single one of the nordics’ events, if they’re old enough.

Also, camping trips. Norway is totally going to drag them to the middle of the forest, maybe even bring the other nordics along.

I’ll write this with Fem!Country, since you imagined it that way ^^

America:

The country he’s marrying better be really patient and take it slow if she wants their relationship to really work.

You see, he’s young, has a distorted view of marriage, and really doesn’t want to settle down, at least not now, so the whole thing is a bit uncomfortable for him.

He’ll also need some time to learn that political marriages are a thing and that their union doesn’t necessarily need to end in love, because guess what, he didn’t knew this and thinks he will have to treat this stranger like his actual wife.

Once he learns about it, though, it will be a little easier. She will still have to very patient, but when America is already over the initial shock, it will be easy for them to at least become friends.

After some time of friendship, I can pretty much guarantee that the country will be able to get Alfred to love her back.

She absolutely has to take it slow, though, or America will be freaked out. As I said, he’s young, and he doesn’t understand relationships very well.

France:

France thinks they have a pleasant and interesting personality, and will be more than willing to try an actual relationship.

Of course, he’ll want to get to know them better first, so he won’t just jump straight into dating them. He’s going to start slow, by just talking to them and flirting a little, and then taking them out, you know the drill.

He’s also going to be curious about why they daydream so much. Are they creating a story? Are they just thinking about life? He’ll want to know what is in his perhaps-lover’s mind.

Anyway, France is going to do his best to get to know them better and see if they would go well together.

Even if dating doesn’t work (Which I doubt it won’t) they will get along well. Love or not, their union will be peaceful.

England:

He’s a bit iffy about the idea of trying to find love in the union. He would rather just keep it political, it’s a lot easier.

He might be open to try it if he ends up being friends with his spouse thought, but that would take some time.

Either way, he appreciates their sense of humor and patience a lot. It feels refreshing to have someone like that around, considering that he’s normally near people who are all loud and either too serious or too childish.

England also admires their maturity, their willingness to become friends even if dating doesn’t work. 

Even if he does find them nice to be around, getting him to agree with the love thing is going to take a while. He’ll probably warm up to them a lot with enough time, but he’s really stubborn.

China:

China…isn’t really sure about the whole thing. You see, he isn’t that against it, but he isn’t very sure if it would be a good idea. Someone could end up hurt, and he doesn’t want this to happen.

He’d rather just try to get along with them first, maybe introduce them to his culture and history, if they’re interested. He’s always happy to do that.

Considering how dreamy they are, maybe China will have a little bit of a hard time getting along with them first. 

Don’t get him wrong, he finds romantic people very interesting, but he’s a little too cynic and down-to-earth, so their personalities might clash in that aspect.

If they do end up as friends, though, he might be willing to try love. It’s probably going to be a little awkward though, he’s been out of the dating game for quite a while.

England!

Don’t like airheaded and too nice guys? Well, then England’s your man. I can 100% guarantee that he isn’t those things even one bit.

Since you like reading and writing, you two will get along very well! I can totally see you two bonding over books, going on bookshop dates, discussing stories...

England appreciates your musical taste a lot too, as it is a lot like his. Well, he actually prefers punk over metal, but he does like metal too, and if you’d like, he’ll be glad to show you some punk bands.

He’ll be always there to help you with your back pain, social anxiety, or any problem really. Seriously. England might be a bit of a jerk, but he’s really loyal and will absolutely always be there to help you.

He’s also open to watch you do sports and work out, if you’re okay with that. He might even join in and try to impress you but fail miserably at it

Also, if you want someone to be salty and sarcastic with, he’s your guy. You two might end up having some kind of salt-offs since he is a pretty competitive person, but I can guarantee you’ll have lots of fun together.

Now, he might need some time to warm up to PDA and your dirty mindedness, but honestly, he’ll probably end up enjoying it. Might accidentally pick up the dirty mind thing too.

England:

Okay, I think we all know that England is the type to judge all of his friends, silently and not. And we know that he’s not even one bit afraid of doing that.

Before he found out that his friend was an actual powerful dark wizard from hell, he was all “Stop being stupid” and “Shut up, I’m trying to read” around them when they started being childish.

After he finds out, though? He’s too terrified to even disagree with them.

“England, do you prefer red or blue?” “I-I prefer whatever you do! Hahaha…!”

Also, when he’s not around them, he’ll be wondering stuff about them all the time. Like, how did they bring the downfall of Rome? How were they alive at those times and still alive now? Are they immortal? Are they human? Heck, what even are they?

His fear slowly fades away as he warms up to this…absolutely shocking information, but the questions don’t ever go away, no sir. This man wants answers.

So he starts bugging them all the time, asking them those questions and listening to each answer attentively.

Once he gets the facts then their friendship is back to normal…mostly.

Prussia:

Originally, he really dislikes the idea of marriage, even if it’s with his crush

There’s not really a reason to it, he just doesn’t like getting tied down to something for too long. It feels boring to him.

However, when they started living together, his opinion on marriage...changed quite a lot.

Everytime she would do anything even remotely marriage-like, like making him breakfast or asking him how his day was when he got home, made his heart skip a beat.

Because he couldn’t help but think how everything would be if their marriage was an actual political marriage, not just a political one. 

Starts getting happy like a puppy whenever they spend time together, he gets super clingy.

Lowkey answered “You too, dear!” to her “Have a good day at work” one time...or maybe two times...

Either way, he slowly starts to enjoy more and more the marriage, and the idea of being married to his crush.

And somehow, it still take him literal ages to realize he’s absolutely in love with her. 

And it takes him even longer to actually confess his feelings.

Seriously. Prussia might be “awesome” and all that but when it comes to romance he’s totally clueless. 

Even if they do get in a romantic relationship, he will probably wake her up at night to ask “Hey babe, do you really like me? As in, like like?”

“England,I’m sorry but your brother is one of the most attractive man I’ve ever met, andthat accent? It is slaying me. I know brothers are off limits in friendshipsbut damn.”

Thewords kept echoing through England’s mind as his face scrunched up in disgust.

“What…thebloody hell?” He finally manages to say “My brother, attractive? Are you mad?”

Hestared at his friend for one additional second, and then glanced at his brotherwho was still waiting for them to return.

“I’msorryyy” England heard his friend say jokingly “He’s just…God, he could read anIkea manual to me and I would still thank him.” They chuckled.

Englandglanced at Scotland again, and then at his friend, and then at Scotland onemore time.

Seriously, how could anyone find this man attractive?Ew!

“Don’t…eversay anything like that to me again” He said, trying to keep his voice quiet “Andtry not to look like a fucking pervert when you talk to him again.”

“Okay,okay, I’ll stop” The friend rolled his eyes “I can’t promise you anything aboutthe second part, though” They muttered.

China:

He’s a bit uncomfortable marrying a stranger so he feels very weird around his spouse for a while.

He does miss having other people live with him though, and feels kind of lonely, so he warms up to their presence rather quickly.

China is a little skeptical of their hopeless romantic-ness at first, honestly. You see, he has been in this world for a long time so he finds the idea of true and eternal love kind of foolish.

He thinks that it’s kind of cute how much of a fool for love his spouse is. There aren’t many people like this in the world nowadays so he finds it fascinating in a way.

Plus, the idea of being with someone until the end is something he secretly longs for.

He won’t even consider falling in love with the country, though. He needs to focus on work and keeping his people happy and safe, anyway.

If they confess to them, though, things take a complete turn.

When he finds out that the one this country wants to be with until the end is him and they’re willing to wait as long as it takes for him to love them back…he feels his heart skip a bit.

As I said, China is a bit skeptical of the whole true love thing, but he does find it beautiful, after all.

This is the first time I write Greece and Egypt so it might be a little off. I hope it isn’t too bad ^^’

Egypt:

This completely breaks his usual quiet and calm act.

Lets out an extremely shocked “Mother?!” before she disappears into thin air.

Is completely convinced that this apparition has to have a meaning. 

He sits down and starts thinking about every single mistake he has made lately, trying to find just what made his mother feel so disappointed.

“Wait…what if she’s talking about something I’m going to do in the future?”

Flips through some old books he keeps in a closet, trying to find some possible explanation of this event.

Is unusually aware of his mistakes for a while and feels kinda bad about himself.

Greece:

Very, but silently shocked.

Looks around to see if it isn’t someone pulling a sick prank on him.

To others, he seems perfectly normal, but this will haunt him for days, maybe even weeks.

Finds himself thinking about it literally all the time, trying to understand whatever happened.

Questions if it was really his mother’s spirit that visited him or if it was some other kind of supernatural being.

Might get a little bit depressed. If it really was his mother, then she must be really disappointed with him to come back from the dead to tell him about it…

Either way, this is going to keep him up for a while.

Italy:

Freaks out

Freezes as soon as he sees Rome, drops anything that he might be holding.

Starts crying when Rome disappears. 

“W-What does grandpa Rome mean by that? W-What did I do wrong?”

Calls Germany and/or Japan even if it’s three in the morning and screams and cries into the phone, making absolutely no sense and worrying the them to death.

Is really anxious and freaked out until Germany and Japan inevitably come over to get him to calm down.

hello. i’m sorry for being inactive for the past week. the thing is, i’m in a bad place mentally and i don’t really have the energy to work on this blog.

“Huh, looks likeyou fell for me after all” They said, lips curled into a flirty smile as theyheld him.

France felt hisface grow warm— he was at a loss for words. His spouse, a person that he hadnever seen being so passionate with anything but their interests, held him likethey swept him off his feet, gazing into his eyes with a flirty smile. It madehim feel ungraceful, but in an oddly good way…

This was afeeling that he was really unfamiliar with. He was always so clever with words,always knowing exactly what flirty remark he should say, but now, it was likehe never even learned how to speak.

He stared intohis spouse’s eyes. They held the amorous look.

And then theywidened their eyes and pushed him away, making him stumble and almost fall onthe floor.

“Oh my god, I-I’mso sorry” They stuttered, face flushing “I-I don’t know what got to me rightnow, I-I…”

France blinked. Hecould still feel their hands on his back, gently holding him, protecting himfrom falling.

He found himselfwanting that feeling again. His heart was racing…

Realization hithim in the face— goodness, he was so in love with them.

He glanced athis spouse that was still stuttering out apologies, and smirked. Suddenly, heknew what to do.

“Oh, don’t worryabout that, dear” France said, taking a step closer to them, who went quiet athis action.
